Qualifications
· Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required.
· 1 year of experience practicing as an APP is required, or 2 years of RN experience within MS or neurology for New Grad Nurse Practitioners.

Job Summary:
- Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Performs initial and on-going bio-psychosocial assessments according to accepted standards of nursing practice. Develops a nursing plan of care consistent with the master treatment plan.
- Participates in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives and interventions appropriate to the age-related and problem-specific needs of each patient.
- Implements nursing plan of care for assigned patients and conducts and/or co- leads group therapy sessions for patients

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program. Minimum Associate degree, Bachelor’s preferred. Associate degree hires must obtain a BSN within 6 years of hire date
- Application to sit for CT RN license must be completed and licensing obtained within 90 calendar days of graduation date
- Demonstrates ability to develop, deliver and evaluate patient care
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
