Job Description
Join Worthington Enterprises as a Manager of Product Development within the business’s North American Building Products Innovation team and growing product portfolio. This role is responsible for leading the project management function and Innovation programs themselves. Emphasis is on early exploration, discovering new, needle moving opportunities and then driving the best few to completion with the team. Responsibilities
- Product Development Leadership: Mature and execute the product development process from concept to launch, including ideation sessions, feasibility studies, design, prototyping, testing, and market introduction. The Underground Utilities Technical Trainer is responsible for delivering technical training programs that support underground utility construction operations. With extensive field experience, the trainer provides instruction on plan interpretation, excavation methods, installation techniques, and coordination between project teams to improve field execution and construction quality. - Lead clemency‑focused representation through Ohio’s Expedited Pardon Project, including evaluating clients, preparing pardon applications, and preparing clients for Parole Board review, as applicable.
- Provide direct legal services to people with criminal records, including record sealing, expungement, Certificates of Qualification for Employment (CQEs), and Certificates of Qualification for Housing (CQHs).
- Conduct client intake, case evaluation, and ongoing client support throughout representation.
- Participate in Second Chance Legal Clinics, community outreach, and public education related to record relief and clemency.
- Collaborate with OJPC legal staff on litigation and advocacy supporting broader organizational priorities, as needed.
- Assist with program data tracking, reporting, and related administrative support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctor or advanced law degree.
- Admission to the Ohio Bar (or eligibility consistent with Ohio Supreme Court rules).
- Strong research, writing, analytic, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- A demonstrated and abiding commitment to social justice and criminal legal system reform.
- Work related to record sealing, expungement, clemency, or parole advocacy.
- Experience working within or alongside the criminal legal system.
- Client‑centered, trauma‑informed legal representation.
- Public speaking or community education experience.
