General Duties / Responsibilities

- Conducts psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and resources (both family support and community support). Provides counseling to patient and family in matters directly related to patients’ limitation, adjustment to medical condition, and ongoing treatment. Develops and implements discharge plans, follow-up care, and transfers to other health care facilities (e.g., nursing homes, rehabilitation hospitals, etc.)
- Provides consultation services to medical, nursing, and ancillary hospital staff regarding psychosocial issues, discharge plans, and follow-up care for patients and families.
- Provides crisis intervention services.
- Responds independently, and with various media, to appropriate community requests. Take the initiative in seeking out opportunities to present programs to meet the needs of patients/members and their families.
- Consults with Hospital administration, and Plan supplying information and feedback regarding procedures and services provided by the Psychology Division.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with community resources. Coordinate with physicians, and representatives of their service disciplines for the benefit of the member and their families. Take initiative in identifying and assessing the needs of the community and organize responses to address those needs.
- Interfaces with the RN Case Manager(s) and the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in the development and implementation of the Case Management Program (CMP).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- The physician serves as medical director for skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and participates in administrative and quality initiatives for the facilities he or she is responsible for;

What you'll do
You plan your day, set priorities, and work with your team to keep freight moving safely and on time. You communicate clearly, solve problems as they come up, and adapt to changes on the road or in the plan.

Job Summary and QualificationsDemonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his/her department. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures. Provides health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential to successful completion of the procedure. Provide services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
What qualifications you will need:
- High school graduate or Equivalent Degree
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART R)
- Registry eligible within 90 days
- Current CPR certificate in Basic Life Support
- Two years or more clinical experience in Radiography preferred.

Qualifications

A private, regionally accredited university is launching a new Accelerated BSN (ABSN) site in Reno, Nevada and is seeking a Director of Nursing Services to lead operations at this location.
This full-time leadership role is responsible for overseeing the clinical, lab, and simulation components of a hybrid ABSN program. The Director will collaborate with university leadership and healthcare partners to ensure high-quality student experiences and regulatory compliance.
Director of Nursing Services Key Responsibilities- Lead operational planning and execution of clinical placements, skills labs, simulation activities, scheduling, and proctoring
- Develop and maintain systems to monitor performance, compliance, and program outcomes
- Supervise and support site staff, ensuring required credentials and annual compliance standards are met
- Manage equipment, supplies, and facility readiness for instructional delivery
- Ensure adherence to accreditation, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with senior academic leadership to support student success and program growth
- Doctoral degree required
- Minimum 5 years of professional nursing practice with accountability for outcomes
