The primary focus of this role is full-charge housekeeping, with light childcare support for two newborns expected to arrive in February/March of the coming year.
The parents will be deeply involved in caring for their babies.
Childcare responsibilities will be minimal and primarily centered around providing an extra set of hands when needed.
The ideal candidate has excellent housekeeping skills, strong organizational abilities, and proven experience caring for newborns or infants in a supportive role.
Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning, organization, and maintenance of the home Handle laundry for the household, including washing, folding, ironing, and linen care Maintain cleanliness and organization of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas Manage household supplies, inventory, and restocking Assist with meal prep, grocery shopping, and general household errands as needed Ensure the home remains tidy, well-stocked, and guest-ready Assist parents with newborn/infant care as needed Provide gentle, nurturing support under parental guidance Help with bottle preparation, baby laundry, and organizing nursery spaces Step in with supervision or soothing when parents need brief support Maintain a calm and safe environment for the babies at all times Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a housekeeper / nanny, or family assistant in a private home Proven experience with newborns/infants (required) Excellent references from previous employers CPR / First Aid Certified Warm, nurturing, mature, and responsible demeanor Exceptional housekeeping and organizational skills Ability to take direction well and work collaboratively with hands-on parents Discreet, professional, and able to maintain strict confidentiality Strong communication skills Authorized to work in the U.S.
