Job Summary
The Contracting Officer-Sponsored Programs role will review, process, approve, negotiate, and administer assigned sponsored proposals and awards, which may include governmental, industry, non-U.S. and/or not-for-profit funding of grants, contracts, and other sponsored agreements and donations in
the support of research. Provide services and guidance to faculty and research staff. Review, analyze, and interpret new awards terms and conditions.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Analyze solicitations and review proposals to ensure proposals are complete and compliant with Institute policies, agency regulations, and solicitation requirements. Review sign any required Institute Representations and Certifications.
Job Duty 2 -
Identify proposal risks and review mitigation strategies with management. Submit all assigned, approved, compliant proposals prior to deadlines.
Job Duty 3 -
Review and interpret sponsored agreement language. Resolve contractual issues, negotiating contract changes, and executing agreements on behalf of the Institute's research corporations with an approved corporation officer.
Job Duty 4 -
Provide Post award administration. Monitor administration of awarded sponsored projects and serve as contact for all business/contractual matters throughout life cycle of sponsored program awards. Resolve issues brought forward by researchers and unit administrators. Prepare business correspondence and notices required by award terms.
Job Duty 5 -
Maintain current working knowledge of applicable federal regulations, state laws, Institute policies, and sponsor requirements.
Job Duty 6 -
Advise faculty, project directors and financial and administrative staff on proposal submission process, post award administration, regulatory compliance requirements and Institute policy, coordinating with other units supporting research including Conflict of Interest, Research Integrity Assurance, Research Security, Export Control, Corporate Engagement, Technology Licensing, and the Georgia Tech Office of Legal Affairs.

- Experience identifying common research compliance issues (e.g. export, human subjects research, intellectual property management, data storage and handling) and working with colleagues across campus to address and manage those issues in industry contracts.

Knowledge of different contract types (including Cost Reimbursement, Fixed Priced, Time and Material, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity, Other Transaction Agreements, etc.) and terms applicable to sponsored research is preferred.
SKILLS
Excellent customer service skills to address issues and problems effectively and professionally in a compliance-driven, high-pressure environment. About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology
The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. All ECE undergraduate and graduate programs are in the top five of the most recent college rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
In addition to the main campus in Atlanta, Georgia, ECE also has permanent operations at Georgia Tech-Lorraine in France. Graduate students who spend at least one semester each at of the Georgia Tech locations (Atlanta, Lorraine, on two continents, North America and Europe) can earn the Georgia Tech Global Engineering Immersion Program (GEIP) Certificate when they receive the Georgia Tech M.S. degree.

Job Summary
The Signal Lab in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech is seeking a Research Scientist to lead and advance cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence. The role will involve laboratory management, project oversight, and business development activities to name a few.
Responsibilities
1. Research Leadership in Foundation Models, World Models, and Frontier AI
- Lead and execute advanced research programs in large-scale AI, including foundation model architectures, multimodal representation learning, world models, agentic systems, and self-supervised learning at scale.
- Design and evaluate new training algorithms, model architectures, and scalable pipelines for language, vision, audio, robotics, simulation, and multi-agent environments.
- Develop GPU-, TPU-, and cluster-optimized training frameworks, distributed training systems, and inference-time optimization pipelines for next-generation AI models.
- Publish high-impact papers in top AI/ML venues, release open-source tools, and contribute to Georgia Tech's AI research leadership and national strategic priorities.
2. Lab Management and AI Compute Infrastructure Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the AI research lab, including GPU clusters, high-performance storage, distributed training stacks, and data governance frameworks.
- Manage, maintain, and expand high-performance compute infrastructure: multi-node GPU clusters, distributed data loaders, RL/simulation environments, and model evaluation frameworks.
- Ensure safety, compliance, documentation, model governance, data integrity, and continuous uptime of compute and AI assets.
- Build automated pipelines for model training, experiment reproducibility, dataset generation, benchmarking, and large-scale evaluation.
3. Affiliate Engagement, Business Development, and Partnerships
- Engage, onboard, and support affiliate companies participating in the AI and foundation model research program.
- Serve as a technical liaison for affiliates across AI labs, cloud providers, robotics companies, semiconductor partners, government agencies, and enterprise AI users.
- Define joint research thrusts, scoping documents, datasets, deliverables, evaluation protocols, and IP structures for partner organizations.
- Coordinate demos, campus visits, model showcases, and affiliate meetings to support collaboration and knowledge transfer.
4. Project Management and PhD Mentorship
- Mentor PhD students, postdocs, and research engineers working on foundation models, world models, agentic systems, and large-scale representation learning.
- Manage multi-PI, multi-institution, and affiliate-funded AI research efforts, ensuring timely execution, publications, deliverables, reporting, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide technical direction on model design, dataset creation, training strategies, evaluation, experiment planning, scheduling, milestones, and results dissemination.
Required Qualifications
Research Scientist/Engineer I
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related area.
Research Scientist/Engineer II
- A Master's degree and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
- A Master's degree and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
- A Doctoral degree.
Senior Research Scientist/Engineer
- A Master's degree and seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
- A Master's degree and nine (9) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
- A Doctoral degree and four (4) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or a closely related field with emphasis on AI or large-scale model development.
- Strong research record in foundation models, world models, representation learning, multimodal AI, distributed training, or agentic systems.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale model training using GPUs/TPUs, distributed systems, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow), and data pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring students or leading technical AI teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

The complex is a unique expansion of the existing swimming and diving venue built for the 1996 Olympic Games. Campus Recreation provides a premier recreation fitness center, aquatic center, recreation fields, and leadership challenge course for the Georgia Tech community. Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director for Competitive Sports and Competitive Sport Coordinator with the organization, supervision, and facilitation of Tech Wreck Summer Programming. Plan, organize, and implement fitness programs. Provide group fitness classes, instructional classes, or personal training. These classes may include activity course sections, aerobic exercise, weight training, dance, martial arts, flexibility, and other various conditional formats. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: faculty, staff, students, vendors, and visitors.

Job Summary
The Library () at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a collaborative and knowledgeable librarian to lead and manage digital accessibility services to further support the Library's ongoing commitment to ensure that all Library resources and digital assets can be used by all members of the Georgia Tech community, regardless of ability. The Title II and Digital Access Librarian works collaboratively across the library to ensure a unified strategy for proactive and remediated digital resource accessibility, including Course Reserves, Interlibrary Loan, Digital Repository, and other Library digital interfaces. Reporting to the Head of Technical Services this position will serve as the Service Owner for the Library's Title II and Accessibility initiatives including coordinating digital accessibility remediation, working with vendors and campus partners, and participating in strategic decision-making as a core member of various internal and external committees. The Title II and Digital Access Librarian will provide expert advice regarding digital accessibility to inform and support the Georgia Tech Library's vision of innovating services, tools, and access to all for an inclusive future.

80% Librarianship
- Lead and manage the Library's Title II Digital Access Service that includes the coordination and prioritization of requests, compliance, and vendor relationships related to digital accessibility and Title II.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student employees.
- Advise Library Leadership, Library colleagues, students, faculty, and staff and other GT Units on Digital Access best practices and compliance.
- Lead projects and initiatives to improve upon and educate users and stakeholders on digital accessibility and participate in the Library's portfolio and project management processes as appropriate.
- Collaborate with Technical Services Librarians and staff, other colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure a unified strategy for resource acquisition, discovery, delivery, and access of scholarly resources.
- Collaborate with all Library Departments to ensure a unified and compliant digital portfolio.
- Monitor current trends and best practices in digital accessibility and recommend improvements to local policies, practices, and workflows.
- Contributes to Course Reserves and Interlibrary Loan service operations, working alongside colleagues and participating in day-to-day workflows as needed.
- Serve as an ex officio member of the Content Management Group and share expertise in digital accessibility.
- Serve as a core member of the Alma-Primo Advisory Group.
- Participate in collaborative discussions with local, state, and national efforts including, but not limited to, GALILEO, NERL, and ASERL.
- Conduct regular digital accessibility assessments of workflows, platforms, and operations to implement new projects or improve services to better serve users.

The College of Computing (CoC) at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) invites applications and nominations for two inaugural Krishna A. Bharat Professorships in Computational Journalism, at its campus in Atlanta, Georgia. The Bharat Professorships will further research and innovation that focuses on information access in the public sphere, exploring responsible, civic-minded approaches to computational journalism and civic technologies broadly. The chair is endowed by Krishna Bharat, a Georgia Tech doctoral alumnus in computer science and the founder of Google News.
The scope of this search is not limited to journalism as conventionally defined. It may include candidates whose backgrounds span a variety of fields that inform civic life - including communication, public policy, political science, statistics, and law - who have the ability to teach and mentor a student body and to promote an inclusive and welcoming educational and work environment. About the School of Biological Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology
Undergraduate degree programs include 4-year BS and 5-year BS/MS programs in Biology and Bioinformatics. Job Summary
The Spatial Ecology & Paleontology Lab at Georgia Tech would like to invite applicants for a postdoctoral position. We are seeking a new member of our research community to be jointly supervised by Jenny McGuire (Georgia Tech) and Michelle Lawing (Texas A&M). This postdoctoral research associate would join a vibrant team of international researchers investigating global change ecology.
If aspects of this position sound interesting to you, even if you do not possess all the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply. Reviewing of applications will begin ASAP and continue until the position is filled. Start date as early as Summer 2025, but flexible. Postdoc must be a resident at Georgia Tech. The position is for one year with the opportunity to extend for an additional year (currently two years of funding in total) and several options for further expansion on upcoming grant submissions.
Responsibilities
Depending on the postdocs expertise and interests, tasks will include a combination of the following:
- Computational analysis to evaluate the climate tracking and climate fidelity of mammal and plant taxa.
- Mentorship and research facilitation of graduate students examining the effects of arid conditions various aspects of taxonomic variety of fossils from Natural Trap Cave, Wyoming.
- Participation in a large international collaboration examining trait-environment relationships.
- Participation in grant writing and collaborative papers. It is our utmost priority to ensure that postdocs in the lab take on projects that will allow them to achieve scientific visibility that will make them as competitive as possible in this difficult job market.
Required Qualifications
An earned doctorate in PhD is required by the start of the appointment.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have strong interpersonal, R programming, spatial analysis, database analysis, and paleontological skills. Adequate knowledge of skeletal morphology of mammals or reptiles would benefit the candidate.

About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology
The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. All ECE undergraduate and graduate programs are in the top five of the most recent college rankings by U.S. News & World Report.

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking to hire Research Scientist.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Conceive, plan, and conduct individual research in broad areas relevant to the mission of the laboratory (imaging, therapy and contrast/therapeutic agents.
- Serve as the technical lead for the laboratory in your area of expertise.
- Plan and direct a number of collaborative research projects including coordination of research activities between groups and disciplines.
- Develop new instruments, materials, processes, scientific methods, approaches and algorithms.
- Responsible for directing others; plans, organizes, and supervises the work of laboratory scientists, engineers, and technicians. Evaluate progress and results obtained, recommend major changes to achieve overall objectives.
- Participate in strategic planning; key role in identifying and acquiring research funding.
- Review schedules, cost and documentation to ensure success of projects.

About the School of Music at the Georgia Institute of Technology
The School of Music is a global leader in undergraduate and graduate education in music technology, in music and music technology research and creative work. The school fosters a dynamic mix of music performance experiences for students from all academic disciplines and musical backgrounds. The College of Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites nominations and applications for the position of Chair of the School of Music in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Chair will have the opportunity to build upon the success of the School of Music, driving innovation and excellence as we lead innovation in education and research at the interface of music and technology. The new Chair will be expected to provide overall leadership and vision for the development of a comprehensive program of teaching and research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Manage the School's academic, fiscal, and personnel matters and ensure the alignment of the School of Music with the strategic objectives of the College and Institute;
Maintain an active role in the academic life of the school with both teaching and research expectations;
Develop synergies among the programs within the School of Music and create strong interdisciplinary relationships with other schools within the College of Design and across campus;
Work with community and corporate leaders through the College of Design Dean's Advisory Board and bring a demonstrated passion for community engagement and fundraising, with a commitment to building lasting relationships that support the College's mission and future growth.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a terminal degree (PhD or equivalent) in a related field with a distinguished record of scholarly achievement that qualifies for a tenured position. The candidate's career should be deeply rooted in the field of music technology, bringing a detailed understanding of the field and its subfields.
Preferred Qualifications
The candidate must maintain an active commitment to the profession and to the promotion of excellence in teaching and research. Candidates must illustrate the ability to engage community and corporate leaders and work effectively with faculty, students, and administrators. Significant experience in academic and/or research administration is desirable.

Department Information
Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) at Georgia Tech is an auxiliary unit within the Division of Infrastructure and Sustainability (I&S). PTS interfaces with the entire campus population and constituencies external to campus. The services provided by PTS are as diverse and customer oriented as the consumers served. PTS oversees both the campus parking operations and transportation services.
The Parking Department is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all campus parking services for Georgia Tech. It self-operates a comprehensive parking program that includes customer service, cashiering, enforcement, maintenance, and event operations.
The Transportation Department manages a comprehensive network of transit services designed to provide the campus community with an effective and safe transportation alternative around the campus and within specific boundaries or destinations off campus. Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking Healthcare Security Officers to support a large hospital system in the Atlanta area. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors across hospital campuses. Daily responsibilities include patrolling assigned areas on foot or by vehicle, monitoring security and safety conditions, enforcing hospital policies, and responding to incidents such as medical emergencies, behavioral health crises, patient elopements, and security threats.
Security Officers act as first responders in highβstress situations, assisting clinical staff during emergencies, deβescalating volatile situations, and supporting investigations when incidents occur. The role also includes operating and driving hospital vehicles, documenting incidents through clear and accurate reports, conducting interviews, and maintaining professionalism in emotionally challenging environments.
This position requires comfort working around sensitive and sometimes distressing situations, including exposure to traumatic events, behavioral health crises, and deceased patients, while maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.
Must Haves:
- At least 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, public safety, or a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Georgia driverβs license
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or consistent serious accidents)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write clear, complete, and accurate incident reports
- Proficiency with security technology (surveillance systems, access control, emergency management tools)
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment and confidentiality
- Strong problemβsolving, crisisβmanagement, and deβescalation skills

Compensation

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the NCEH/ATSDR IT Compliance and IT Support effort by designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality data visualizations, dashboards, and analytical products that enable leadership, program managers, and technical teams to make informed decisions. The role operates at the intersection of IT governance, EPLC/CPIC reporting, information security, and operational performance, translating complex program and system data into clear, actionable insights.
This position works closely with program management, information security, IT services, and governance stakeholders to ensure that reporting products align with CDC, HHS, and OMB requirements and support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Visualization & Reporting
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, and visual analytics to support program performance, IT governance, EPLC, CPIC, and operational reporting.
- Build and maintain BI dashboards using multiple data sources (SharePoint lists, SQL databases, Excel files, service desk systems, and security tools).
- Translate complex technical, financial, and compliance data into clear, executive-level visuals for leadership briefings and governance boards.
- Ensure visualizations follow best practices for accessibility, clarity, and usability, including Section 508 considerations where applicable.
Data Integration & Analysis
- Extract, transform, and analyze structured and semi-structured data from:
- SQL Server databases
- SharePoint (2016 and SharePoint Online)
- Excel and CSV-based reporting
- Service management and ticketing systems
- Develop supporting data models, calculated measures, and KPIs aligned to CDC and HHS reporting standards.
- Validate data accuracy and consistency across multiple reporting sources.
Program & Compliance Support
- Support EPLC and CPIC reporting, including schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and performance metrics.
- Assist with monthly status reports (MSRs), task summary reports (TSRs), quarterly risk reports, and annual/final reports through automated or semi-automated visual reporting solutions.
- Provide analytical support for InfoSec, governance, and asset oversight reporting needs.
- Support adβhoc data calls from CDC OD, HHS, and OMB by rapidly developing one-off analytical views or visual summaries.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work directly with program managers, business analysts, InfoSec staff, and system owners to define reporting requirements.
- Present findings and dashboards to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain documentation for dashboards, data sources, assumptions, and refresh schedules.
