Corporate Associate (M&A) – 3-6 Years | Atlanta, GA

Bright Line Counsel is seeking a 3-6 years Corporate Associate to support a Business Group with a busy practice focused on M&A, joint ventures, and general corporate transactions.

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of M&A experience (diligence, drafting/negotiation, managing closings)

• Strong foundation in general corporate law, including entity formation and governance

• Experience with joint ventures or commercial contracts is a plus

• AmLaw 100 experience strongly preferred

Ocean Export Coordinator – Atlanta, Georgia – Salary: up to $65,000

This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle ocean export process, ensuring timely and compliant international shipments while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has strong experience in ocean export operations within a freight forwarding environment and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle ocean export shipments (FCL & LCL) from booking to final delivery
• Arrange bookings with ocean carriers and negotiate rates when necessary
• Prepare and process export documentation, including: Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipper’s Export Declarations (AES filings), Certificates of Origin
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and international trade requirements
• Communicate with shippers, overseas agents, carriers, truckers, and warehouses
• Track and trace shipments; proactively update customers on shipment status
• Manage invoicing, billing, and file profitability
• Resolve shipment issues, delays, or documentation discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records in the company’s transportation management system (TMS)

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ocean export experience in a freight forwarding environment (required)
• Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation and Incoterms
• Experience with AES filings and U.S. export compliance regulations
• Familiarity with ocean carriers and routing practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Experience with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding software preferred

Import Coordinator (Air & Ocean) | Atlanta, GA | Salary of $65,000

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end import process across both air and ocean freight, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, knowledge of international shipping regulations, and the ability to communicate effectively with global partners, carriers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
