Our client is an established, multi-specialty primary care medical group with a long-standing tenure, located in the city of Thousand Oaks, offering general practice.

We are searching for a bright and diligent Medical Receptionist to join our client’s office.

Pay: 22 per hour Status: Temp to Hire Location: Thousand Oaks.

This is a traditional Medical Receptionist position.

You will be responsible for greeting guests as they come in for their appointments, getting new appointments scheduled in, and ensuring that everyone completes the paperwork prior to seeing the doctor.

You will also: · Verify patient demographics and insurance information · Conduct follow-up on appointments and try to get referrals.

· Answer a multi-line phone system, and route calls when needed.

· Collect co-pays, balance, and help process payments.\ · Maintain the patient charts and ensure compliance with HIPAA.

· Maintain communications with the providers, billing staff, and Medical Assistants · Handle other patient inquiries as needed If you do well, there is a possibility of growth.

This is a full-time position, temp to hire.

Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

This is what we are looking for in candidates: · You have at least 1 year of previous experience in a Medical Office.

· You have a high school diploma or higher level of education · You have a basic understanding of insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Medicare, etc.) · You know medical terminology · Preferably, you are familiar with EHR/EMR systems (like Athena, or NextGen) · You are highly organized, dependable, and punctual · You focus on the patients and try your best to help serve their needs.

Enlist under an advanced technical field or Warrior Challenge style contract that specifies the aircrew, rescue swimmer, or diver training pipeline; qualified Fleet Sailors may volunteer and request conversion into aircrew or diving roles after screening, physical testing, and command endorsement.
