Human Resources Manager

Location: Fountainebleau, FL

Schedule: Onsite

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all HR functions within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for driving HR strategy, ensuring compliance, supporting leadership, and building programs that strengthen employee engagement and organizational performance.

This is a high-impact leadership position reporting directly to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Human Resources and Payroll operations
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning for exempt and non-exempt roles
• Administer compensation programs, conduct salary analysis, and manage merit planning
• Ensure compliance with California and federal employment laws
• Manage employee relations, performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution
• Oversee leaves of absence including medical and workers’ compensation
• Maintain required compliance programs (AAP, OSHA logs, reporting requirements, etc.)
• Update and maintain employee handbook and HR policies
• Represent the company in employment-related matters including investigations and claims
• Partner with leadership to drive organizational development initiatives
• Administer company training programs and support performance-based culture initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
• 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong background as an HR generalist in a manufacturing environment
• Thorough knowledge of California employment law
• Experience with compensation planning and performance management systems
• Proven success in recruiting and retaining diverse talent
• Experience with ADP payroll systems preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

We're looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The Ready-Mix Truck Driver's primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential work sites. This role requires navigating a range of conditions, including uneven terrain, and may involve handling and attaching extension chutes weighing between thirty to fifty pounds.

As a Ready-Mix Driver at Cemex, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Delivery & Timing: Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites.
• Discharge Management: Adapt discharge methods to various site settings and conditions.
• Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes as necessary for precise concrete pouring.
• Truck Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready-mix truck.
• Customer Service: Provide outstanding service, maintaining a professional image for the company.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with dispatch and other team members for efficient operations.

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• Educational and Licensing Requirements: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B). High School diploma preferred. Driver must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Skills: Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and guidance from supervisors. Knowledge of traffic routes and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep (desirable).

What You’ll Do as a Security Supervisor:

• Lead and support Security personnel to ensure daily procedures and responsibilities are followed according to corporate policy and state regulations.
• Manage and maintain security and maintenance systems, including the Villa Maintenance system, electronic key control, and surveillance platforms.
• Conduct and oversee internal criminal and civil investigations and serve as a liaison with Law Enforcement and Emergency Services.
• Administer government-mandated safety and security programs such as Bloodborne Pathogens and Hazard Communication training.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests and supporting internal departments when needed.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and operational teams to resolve security-related issues and support business needs.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident reports, investigation summaries, and operational documentation.
• Respond to critical incidents and take command of incident scenes, including fire alarms and emergency situations.
• Coordinate and supervise security coverage for special events and high-profile activities.
• Participate in operational, safety, and risk management meetings as directed.
• Ensure Disaster Plans, Emergency Procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures are followed and kept current.

What You Will Bring as a Security Supervisor:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field is required (minimum of 3 year)
• Possession of a valid Unarmed Security Officer license (as required by the state of employment) is a plus; however, we will assist qualified candidates in obtaining this certification if needed
• Certificate certificates in First Aid, CPR and AED highly preferred but not required
• Prior hospitality or guest service experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with basic computer systems used to complete reports, logs, and email communication
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations
• Excellent judgment, integrity, and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
• Must have a Class D Security Guard License (Unarmed) issued by the State of Florida
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
• Required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Requires physical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors, remain on your feet for extended periods, climb stairs, and move quickly for short distances as needed
