Cardiac Anesthesiologist needed near San Jose, CA Join a large practice near San Jose as they seek 2 full time permanent Anesthesiologists to join its expanding group.
Shifts are normal days from 6:00 am to 2 PM depending on the length of the cases, Monday through Friday work week.
Cases are dependent on the workday/ emergencies as well.
Usually do 2-3 hearts a day.
Call would 1/4, currently it is 1/3.
Call is every 4th weekend, right now its every 3rd, and its every other day rotated between physicians.
There is stipend call and compensation if you get called into work.
Certifications needed: Need to be board eligible for the National Board Of Echo Cardiologist certification and to be eligible for testamur.
Couple of years of experience is desired, but if new grad or in fellow they must have done 200 cases of hearts in their program.
