About Us
We are a large, established orthopaedic group seeking a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for growth with plenty of volume to keep you busy. Our group operates out of 6 office locations and 3 hospitals, providing a diverse and dynamic work environment. We offer a short partnership track with an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and solid earning potential at partnership.

- Completed fellowship training in Foot & Ankle Surgery

Scheduling Requirements:
- Full Time Day
- Monday-Thursday 8a-5p

Essential Functions:
- Assists physician by recording patient progress notes, issues diagnostic orders, and transcribes orders
- Assists with various counseling and education functions
- Billing for patient services based on CMS and NJ State Board Regulations
- Demonstrates satisfactory knowledge and judgment to provide appropriate care for patients
- Develops plan of care for patients in coordination with multidisciplinary team and completes appropriate reports to physicians and family
- Documents and maintains patient records of services provided according to facility and nursing standards
- Establishes a collaborative relationship with other medical providers
- Examines patients to determine presence of illness, utilizing physical findings, laboratory results, medical history, ascertains nature and extent of illness and prescribes treatments as indicated
- Interviews, instructs and advises patients regarding health and illness prevention

Outpatient Advanced Practice Nurse Pulmonary Med Critical Care Saint Peter's is the 5th hospital worldwide to earn Magnet status SIX times in a row. Our team of award-winning nurses is growing, and we are looking for talented, compassionate RNs to join our team. The Outpatient Advanced Practice Nurse will: The Advanced Practice Nurse will be an integral part of the health care team, working with physicians, nurses and nursing or medical assistants to provide comprehensive high-quality ambulatory care, as appropriate to the ages of the patient's growth and development through the life cycle factors (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics). Provide direct patient care, within the limits prescribed by training, and in consultation with a supervising physician.
- Assist with evaluating and managing follow up patients
- Maintain a panel of continuity care patients
- Assist with patient flow by seeing patients as requested by the attending physician.
Assist with procedures if triage nurses are unavailable.
- Perform urinary catheterization, venipuncture, and other nursing tasks as requested attending physician - i.e. NBS
- Assist physicians with other specialized procedures - i.e. skin biopsy
- Coordinate on-call telephone coverage with physician

- Evaluate educational level and understanding of caregivers.
- Explain the nature of the child's illness, the reason for all tests and procedures, and the care necessary in the home, including administration of medicines, ensure understanding, using printed information to supplement oral teaching.
- Develop new, innovative methods of patient education, including group waiting room teaching, geared to the educational level of the clientele.
- Locate available simple pictorial education materials or develop new ones as necessary, to assist with the teaching of young parents and those with limited education.
Demonstrate competency in knowledge and skill necessary to provide care to provide care to specific age-related populations (i.e. Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics).
- Maintain CPR review certification on an annual basis as evidenced by a valid card. Submit to Chair and Practice Coordinator.
- Attend all mandatory in-service updates as required.
- Attend at least the minimum required continuing education programs per year, needed for maintenance of certification and licensure.
Assist with setting and revising practice policies.
- Review current policies and make suggestions for revision.
- Be alert for the need of new policies to improve the efficiency and patient friendliness of the clinic, and, after discussion with the Practice Coordinator and Chair, assist with writing these.
Assist with routine paperwork.
- Call in routine medication and vitamin refills, consulting with physician as necessary.
- Assist with sharing patient information, either in writing or by telephone, with other health care providers. Complete school and daycare Supplemental Social Security Income forms.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Current Advance Practice Nursing licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Current CDS and DEA required
- Master's degree in nursing required
- Two (2) years' experience in specialty strongly preferred
- Certified as a nurse practitioner in the State of New Jersey within area of specialty
- BLS certification, as approved by the American Heart Association

Position Description:
Penn Medicine Princeton Health is looking for a per diem Physician Assistant to join their busy Surgery Department.
This position is primarily operating room based. The Physician Assistant performs as a first assistant to surgeons during operative procedures in the inpatient and outpatient care settings at Princeton Health. Multispecialty surgeries included: Orthopedics, Plastic surgery, Robotic surgery, Gynecologic surgery, ENT and C-sections.
The Physician Assistant demonstrates competency in the performance of operative and procedural skills. Applies principles of asepsis and infection control. Provides appropriate positioning, prepping and draping of the patient. Applies knowledge of surgical anatomy, physiology, and operative technique relative to the surgical procedure. Provides hemostasis, retraction and anatomical exposure. Performs wound closure and applies surgical dressings, casts and immobilizing devices.
The Physician Assistant works independently and collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals to support a comprehensive plan of care. Communicates effectively with physicians, team members, nursing and ancillary staff. Participates in daily rounds in the inpatient setting. Provides appropriate pre-operative and post-operative care. Documents appropriate information into the medical record, orders diagnostic tests and prescribes medications to support a comprehensive plan of care. Develops and maintains specialty skill sets as required (i.e., Robotics). Maintains certifications as required. Demonstrates commitment to professional growth by participation in continuing medical education activities.
Hours: Per Diem. Dayshift, 7:00am-3:30pm. No weekends or on-call.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistant.
- Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program.
- Master of Arts or Science required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of OR experience as a Physician Assistant is required.
