The Care Promoter 1 is an unlicensed medical professional cross-trained to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the medical centers running smoothly. The duties of Care Promoter 1 vary from setting to setting, depending on the size, location and type. In addition to administrative duties, Care Promoters perform clinical duties under direct physician supervision in accordance with state medical practice acts. The Care Promoter 1 is an integral member of a Physician-lead Care Team that is focused on providing excellent and comprehensive primary care for a specific population of patients.

​ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Measures and records patient vital signs; records patient interview and medical history.
  • Catalogs and communicates patient needs to the PCP, Clinician, Specialist and/or other clinical personnel.
  • Prepares patients for examinations and performs routine screening tests; assists physician with exams; explains treatment procedures and physicians' instructions to patient.
  • Observes patients and reports any changes in patient conditions to the PCP, Clinician, Specialist and/or other clinical personnel.
  • Perform non-critical medical and therapeutic procedures based on medical instructions. Collects phlebotomy and other lab specimens; performs basic waived lab tests.
  • Prepares and administers medications; changes dressings, applies bandages, removes sutures and other first aid procedures; uses CPR skills when necessary, all under physician supervision.
  • Maintains supplies, equipment, stocks and sterilizes instruments; practices OSHA safety standards; performs accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times.
  • Processes patient phone messages, returning calls and routing them to other team members as appropriate; calls patients to obtain and relay pertinent information for the physician.
  • Upon physician approval and authorization, calls in prescriptions to the pharmacy. Uses communication skills with appropriate medical terminology; and follows appropriate legal and ethical professional conduct; authorized individuals will use the ChenMed Rx system to support physician medication dispensing.
  • Provides health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices. Follows up with coached patients via weekly calls.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Program in one of the following is required: Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician Program, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic
  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, EMT or Paramedic required
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers required
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus
  • EMR system experience preferred

PAY RANGE:

$17.0 - $24.26 Hourly

The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.

The Program Manager, Clinical Operations & Quality oversees all occupational safety & health and infection prevention & control related programs and activities within the organization. The incumbent in this role is responsible for developing and executing programs that supports maximal compliance with OSHA standards that recognize, isolate, and prevent healthcare associated infections that impact employees and patients. This may include helping to develop action plans and process improvements when patient and employee safety concerns are identified on Quality Assurance (QA) reviews.
  • Oversees the incident reporting program, to assess patient and employee safety risks in the clinical setting; design a plan of action; monitor for follow-up and measure improvements.
  • Design and deliver patient and employee safety presentations for various audiences within the company, both clinical and administrative.
  • Prepare and submit mandated reports to state and federal agencies and, when applicable, coordinate with external agency investigations.
  • Develop and present educational programs to medical, professional and technical staff on issues of professional liability and clinical and enterprise risk awareness and mitigation.
  • Develops and implements occupational wellness programs including but not limited to: support for Worker’s Compensation related cases including, injury investigation and follow up, light duty, and return to work.
  • Works with HR-Talent Acquisition to provide guidance and support for pre-employment testing concerns and to develop policies and procedures for pre-employment and on-boarding processes.
  • Participates as an integral team member of the Clinical Operations team, collaborating with various departments and colleagues, including Safety Officer, Human Resource, Quality Officer, National Director Quality & Patient Experience, and others as needed to advocate for employee health and safety.

INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL:

  • Develops and implements policies related to organizational infection prevention & control practices for our centers. Collaborates with safety and population health on the development and implementation of protocols to support safe centers and provides clinical support and guidance for occupational exposures across the organization.
  • Use epidemiological principles and statistical methods to design, implement and evaluate infection prevention and control strategies
  • Establishes criteria, formulates projects, assesses program effectiveness, and investigates or analyzes a variety of unusual conditions, problems, or questions.
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, accreditation bodies, and ChenMed policies and clinical responsibilities.
  • Provides consultation and education to staff, physicians, and community leaders in respect to Infection Prevention & Control.
  • Conducts risk assessments at least annually and/ or as needed with consideration of served populations, vulnerabilities, relevant statistical data, and new and emerging infectious diseases.
  • Works with Clinical Teams to develop and implement continuously improved patient care procedures and control mechanisms relating to quality, compliance, and infectious diseases.
  • Participates in infection prevent and control education of employees during orientation and as often as needed thereafter, including classes in infection prevention & control practices and occupational health.
  • Ensures the infection prevention & control procedures meets CMS, county and state and CDC regulations, standards, or guidelines.
  • Organizes Infection Prevention & Control Committee meetings and maintains meeting minutes.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site/hybrid role for an AMC Math Tutor located in Chicago. The tutor will deliver engaging mathematics tutoring sessions (1 on 1 or small class) focused on preparing students for the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) and other rigorous math challenges. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, providing individualized and group instruction in topics such as algebra and advanced problem-solving, and offering guidance on effective test-taking strategies. The role also involves assessing student progress and collaborating with staff to enhance academic outcomes and STEM engagement.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mathematics with expertise in Algebra and problem-solving techniques
  • Evidence of supporting AMC and Olympic Math competitions score improvement
  • Experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring, with the ability to effectively teach high school students
  • Strong Communication skills to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner
  • Passion for education and fostering a love for STEM in students
  • Experience with AMC preparation or similar math competitions is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field preferred
  • Patience, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with students and staff

A nationally recognized architecture firm with over a century of history is seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect to join its Chicago headquarters. With a portfolio spanning complex projects across the United States and select international markets, this firm is known for delivering high profile work across industrial, healthcare, commercial, multifamily, and entertainment sectors.


This role will lead the architectural execution of large scale projects ranging from $50M to $300M+, working alongside a highly collaborative design and technical team. The firm offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging buildings with real scale and complexity, while maintaining a stable, long standing reputation in the industry.


The Role

The Senior Project Architect will play a key role in leading the technical development and delivery of projects from design development through construction administration.


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead architectural production and technical coordination for large scale projects across multiple sectors
  • Develop and manage construction documents, detailing, and drawing sets through all phases
  • Coordinate with internal design teams, consultants, engineers, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure projects meet design intent, technical quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and architectural staff
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project coordination sessions
  • Support project managers in schedule coordination, documentation reviews, and technical problem solving

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Revit and BIM coordination
  • Strong knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and technical coordination
  • Experience working on projects exceeding $50M in value
  • Licensed Architect preferred but not required
