Early Intervention Speech and Language Pathologist:

Responsible for coordinating treatment and implementing services for assigned clients as a member of a multi-disciplinary Early Childhood Services team.

Essential Functions:
Provide outreach services to children and families
Consult with team members in the development of individualized plans and multidisciplinary services for assigned clients
Maintain client records completely and accurately to include IFSP’s with full assessment of client functioning and goals,
Documentation of client progress in the program, records of required contact with collaterals and family members,
Documentation of arena assessments and documentation of DPH forms and regulations regarding intake and discharge of clients
Complete billing documentation according to schedule established by the company
Adhere to professional standards and guidelines according to their respective disciplines
Keep supervisor informed of progress of all clients
Adhere to clinical recommendations from clinical administration
Maintain confidentiality in all clinical matters
Remain compliant with billing and documentation in accordance with direct service requirement
Conduct visits with clients and relevant collaterals in natural environments according to the needs of the child and family

Qualifications:

- Current licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health Professions.

Job Summary

The Transformational Beginning (TrB) Coach will support and provide services to young adults (YAs) in UTEC's Transformational Beginnings (TrB) programming from the time they join UTEC until they move on to the Workforce Programming Phase. They will provide wraparound services and prepare young adults for enrollment in TrB, and work with young adults on a one-on-one basis to develop their initial Individual Service Plan and to address barriers while they are still in the TrB Program. The TrB coach will help young adults transition from the TrB Program to UTEC's Workforce Development Program and to a new Transitional Coach who will stay with the young adult for the duration of their UTEC experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of proven risk young men and women with various risk factors during their time in Transformational Beginnings
  • Communicate with each Transformational Beginnings (TrB) young adult frequently to understand who they are and to build a sense of trust
  • Follow up daily with TrB young adults who miss programming to encourage participation and engagement
  • Create an Individual Service Plan (ISP) for each TrB young adult with written details of the supports, activities, and resources required for the individual to achieve personal goals
  • Work with individuals to address barriers and opportunities in their ISPs
  • Be willing and able to lead all classroom modules
  • Document all assessment service plans, and any important and or critical information that pertains to the TrB young adults in UTEC's performance measurement software
  • Collaborate with the Education Team, TC team, and 2Gen program as necessary to support YA ISP, family, and transition goals
  • Support transition of young adults from Street workers to TrB and from TrB Program to Workforce Development/Educational Program and to transfer young adult's information to the new Transitional Coach
  • Provide emergency assistance and crisis intervention to TrB young adults
  • Attend and Provide assistance at UTEC events, field trips, and retreats
  • Conduct regular surveys of the TrB young adults who are disengaged from TrB programming before moving up
  • Support planning and implementation of a transition celebration event as YAs move from TrB to WF Program
  • Provide transportation for TrB young adults to appointments, court, RMV, etc.
  • Most importantly be an enthusiastic team player and intentionally demonstrate UTEC's core values

Education and Experience

Salary/Benefits: The starting salary for this position is $55,000 plus benefits. Position Description

Kaleidoscope ABA is looking to hire a Center-based BCBA. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing client programming that is ethical, appropriately individualized and implemented with integrity.


*BCBA will deliver direct supervision to their BTs/RBTs as well as manage and supervise a small caseload of 4-6 clients.

*Regularly review data collected in sessions with staff and family, interpret the results, and modify the individualized treatment plan accordingly.

*Provide supervision by observing and having team meetings with the staff and the families.

*Consult with the family regarding any concerns related to treatment, behavior modification or staff.

BCBAs at Kaleidoscope ABA are provided the support of their Clinical Manager; assistance which includes administrative support, scheduling help and general assistance with the BCBA's caseload.


Location and Hours

BCBAs are in the Center Monday-Friday.


Required Experience and Education

* Certified as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

* A minimum of 1 year experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.

* Knowledge of appropriate behavioral intervention strategies, earning theories and instructional methods, ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions.

* Proficient as Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ABA software platforms

* Ability to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting as well as the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift children, to 50 lbs., on occasion. You may spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.
