What Youll Do:
Deliver exceptional hospitality while supporting smooth restaurant operationsfrom greeting customers and sharing menu knowledge to ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint.
Essential Functions
- Food Preparation: Includes portioning, mixing, squeezing, chopping, and prepping ingredients.
- Line Operation: Build salads quickly and accurately, ensuring correct portions and presentation.
- Customer Interaction: Greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions, and delivering a friendly and efficient service experience.
- Sanitation + Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Tool + Equipment Handling: Safely operate kitchen tools and equipment (including knives, robot coupe, blenders, thermometers, dish machines, and POS systems).
- Inventory Support: Restock and rotate ingredients and supplies as needed throughout service and prep shifts.
- Team Communication: Use of clear verbal cues (knife, behind) to ensure team coordination and workplace safety.
- Order Accuracy: Follow prep guides and recipe cards to ensure food is prepared to standard, following protocols for handling allergens and preventing cross-contamination.
- Multi-Tasking: Efficiently manage prep, service, and cleaning responsibilities, particularly during peak hours of operation.

Minimum Requirements
- Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per week

- Squatting: For accessing low areas and handling items

Work Schedule:
2 site coverage between Rahway & Elizabeth
Monday 9:30am-12:00pm Rahway & 1:00pm-6:00pm Elizabeth
Tuesday 1:00pm-5:00pm Rahway
Wednesday 9:30am-5:00pm Elizabeth
Thursday 10:30am-2:00pm Elizabeth & 2:30pm-6:00pm Rahway
Friday 10:00am-1:00pm Rahway
Job Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent
1 or more years experience as a phlebotomist
Bilingual-English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist in an Cardiology office
Additional Job Standards:
In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal in English and Spanish
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
**Pay Range: $17.75 - $24.00 per hour
All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
