Job Title – Senior Identity (Ping) Engineer

Location – Tysons, Virginia (Hybrid – onsite 3 days per week)

Role Type – 6-Month Contract (1,040 hours)

Must Have Skills:

• 7+ years of Identity & Access Management (IAM) engineering and architecture experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the full Ping Identity suite across enterprise and/or CIAM use cases
• Deep expertise with PingFederate, PingID, Ping Directory, and PingOne (Enterprise + Customer)
• Proven experience designing and implementing modern passwordless authentication (FIDO2/WebAuthn/Passkeys) at enterprise scale
• Expert-level understanding of IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP) and demonstrated ability to lead large-scale Ping deployments

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Serve as the Ping Identity SME and platform owner across a large financial services enterprise
• Architect, design, deploy, and scale Ping Identity solutions for both workforce SSO and CIAM use cases
• Perform hands-on configuration across the Ping suite supporting on-prem, private cloud, and SaaS (PingOne) architectures
• Design and implement identity workflows using PingOne DaVinci or similar orchestration tools
• Lead enterprise-wide rollout of passwordless authentication (FIDO2/WebAuthn/Passkeys)
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis across Ping environments
• Drive integration with Azure Identity (Entra ID) and other IdP/IdM technologies
• Manage multiple concurrent IAM projects, meeting key milestones and delivering required documentation
• Communicate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Groovy are highly desired for automation
• Candidate must commit exclusively to this contract for its duration

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute contractor agreements written to ensure compliance with project specifications, budget, and schedule.
• Conduct annual performance reviews of direct reports.

• Manage drawing takeoffs, estimating and subcontractor agreements.
• Coordinates all aspects of the project work including equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendors toward successful implementation of the project.
• Works with all project stakeholders, both internal and external to develop and maintain the project schedule.
• Maintains professional level of communication with subcontractors, equipment and material vendors, owners, inspectors, etc.
• Contribute/manage efforts to problem solve for drawing conflicts and coordination with project consultants, site managers, etc.

• 4+ years track record of expertise in project management, preferably in Utility-scale renewables in Virginia/East Coast. Those with experience at general contractor will be considered.
• Project and/or case management skills, including managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
• High level knowledge of solar renewable energy construction process.
• Intermediate to expert skills in Microsoft Office.
• Manage construction activities, contracts, and finances to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, P6 or similar scheduling software to create and manage critical path project schedule.
• Manage project budget, RFI, and change order management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient with contractor outreach and project estimation.
• Manage project RFIs, manage project submittals, and deliver project updates in organized manner.
• Coordinate project scheduling, material procurement, inspections, contractor mobilizations, etc. with construction super intendents/site managers.
• Manage and develop direct reports if necessary.
• Strong technical understanding of drawings and specifications such that one can add value to troubleshooting/problem solving communication with contractors and superintendents.
