The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Institute (PBHI) is seeking full-time Clinical Testing Psychologist or Neuropsychologist with specific expertise in the assessment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other neurodevelopmental presentations in adults. This position will be embedded within the PBHI’s outpatient neuropsychology service. Be part of a vertically-integrated fiscal and clinical delivery system that is revolutionizing behavioral health service models, providing evidence-based treatments, and measurement-based care.

Job Duties:

• Provide outpatient psychological/neuropsychological testing evaluations, including clinical interviewing and feedback to patients, to adult or lifespan populations with autism, ADHD, and related referral questions
• Attend biweekly Neuropsychology team meetings and additional department meetings
• Optional provision of individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy
• Opportunities for teaching and training, including supervision for predoctoral psychology interns and postdoctoral psychology/neuropsychology fellows

Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in Psychology and completion of APA Accredited Pre-Doctoral Clinical Internship in Psychology.
• Clinical training in the assessment of ADHD and autism (ADOS-2 training preferred but not required)
• Holds a Psychology license in the state of Pennsylvania, or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure, as documented by out-of-state licensure.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• The physician serves as medical director for skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and participates in administrative and quality initiatives for the facilities he or she is responsible for;
• Medical directorship functions include attending and participating in monthly quality assurance and process improvement meetings; participating in quality improvement initiatives; providing guidance to facility staff; reviewing and revising (if necessary) facility's clinical guidelines; insuring compliance with state and federal regulations, training facility staff; and supervising facility clinical staff.
• In addition to the medical director role, the physician also serves as the attending physician for the residents residing at each facility;
• The physician collaborates with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage day to day resident care at each facility. Typically, each facility will have a full-time PA or NP assigned to the facility depending on the acuity and volume of the patient population;
• Physician will provide high quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services by rounding on patients residing in SNFs;
• Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with acute illness, such as bacterial and viral infections, as well as chronic diseases and conditions, such as hypertension, heart disease, or diabetes
• Physician must be able to supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physicians assistants

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. 

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist the physicians, nurses and other technical and administrative staff in meeting the needs of individual patients throughout the facility.
• Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including but not limited to X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS
• Perform all imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws and ensure the physician on duty is notified of the results
• Perform basic clinical procedures under the direction of the physician and/or nurse on duty
• Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms and records in paper and electronic formats
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations
• Maintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testing
• Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipment
• Perform Quality Control as established by this laboratory
• Perform Proficiency Testing and/or Split Sample analysis periodically as established by this facility
• Retain records of all analytic activities performed for a minimum of two years
• Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned to this position and document these activities for periodic review by the Laboratory Supervisor and/or the Laboratory Director

• Perform duties as ER Technician as needed
• Maintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testing
• Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipment
• Travel to all facility locations as required
• Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required
• Associate’s degree in Radiology, preferred
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing required
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography required
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography, preferred, with the following exceptions
  • CT certification required (Las Vegas Market)
  • CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred
