The Opportunity

The Mid-Level Life Solutions Specialist helps to ensure the financial security of our membership by assessing member life insurance needs, providing advice and / or referrals for advice, and making the appropriate recommendations based on members’ individual needs and goals. May provide support to Health Solutions acquisition and retention based on member demand.

What you'll do:

• Receives request for advice from current and prospective members through various channels, including inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, faxes, and video telephony. Special Acquisitions Team employees will primarily place outbound calls triggered from underwriting work items.

• Asks questions to discover key information, including life events, and to understand member needs. Documents relevant information.

• Uncovers and recognizes life events, understands and assesses the member's needs, financial situation, and goals.

• Develops and understands appropriate life insurance strategies based on individual member needs. Provides intermediate protection planning advice, including insurance protection, estate planning and enhanced solutions like long term care products.

• Recommends relevant life insurance product and solutions and refers members who may need financial advice to the respective department.

• Motivates member to take action on recommendation(s) and resolves objections using intermediate sales techniques and intermediate persuasion skills. Implements recommendation(s).

• Monitors legislative initiatives that may impact economy, society, and personal financial situation.

• Educates membership on implications of economic, industry trends and tax law changes, as well as USAA's

Work Hours:

• Monday – Friday / 7:30am – 7:00pm (Central)

• An 8 hour shift will fall within these hours

What You Will Do

• Work with various teams of engineers, assemblers, and technicians.

• Perform electrical engineering functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification of electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.

• Perform analysis on production data, to determine root cause analysis of failures.

• Be involved in planning and executing rework of production assemblies.

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking experienced Desktop Engineers to provide deskside support in an enterprise environment. This role is ideal for candidates with deep knowledge of Windows operating systems and strong troubleshooting abilities, especially with the Windows registry and client-side networking. The ideal candidate is not just a user of Windows, but someone who understands how it works beneath the surface.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide deskside technical support for Windows OS and various hardware components
• Troubleshoot and support issues involving laptops, desktops, thin clients, badge readers, signature pads, document scanners, webcams, speakers, and microphones
• Perform installations, uninstalls, and imaging (no image creation required)
• Troubleshoot client-side networking and registry-level issues
• Deliver timely and professional technical support directly at users’ desks
• Document and escalate support issues as needed

Required Qualifications:

They will provide supervision and monitor all clinical medical functions to ensure quality efficiency and coordination of appropriate patient care. They will also oversee all nursing, clinical support staff, volunteers, and interns. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work in collaboration with Director of Clinic Operations and Medical Director. 
• Be present to oversee all clinical aspects of operations and work to improve and enhance compliance and processes. 
• Perform all nursing duties during medical clinic days. 
• Supervision, training, monitoring, and evaluation of volunteer nursing staff, clinical support staff and interns. 
• Provide and improve patient education. This may be during patient visits or scheduling separate nurse visits, depending on the issue. 
• Oversee all aspects of laboratory testing. This includes point-of-care testing, acting as a liaison with Laboratory, ensuring ordered labs have pricing agreements, drawing labs at clinic when clinical staff/volunteer is unable to (or training nurses to do so). 
• Monitor and maintain EMR inboxes for volunteer providers. 
• Oversee inventory systems and items (stocking, organizing), including medications, supplies, and equipment. Work to ensure pharmacy processes are accurate and up to date. 
• Serve as a clinical liaison during the week. All clinically related calls (labs, imaging, pharmacy, patient medical questions) will be routed through Nurse Manager and/or Medical Assistant. 
• Learn clinical aspects of electronic medical record to answer staff questions and develop clinical improvements to meet and exceed quality assurance measures. 
• Coordinate with Medical Director and/or Director of Clinic Operations to accomplish facility and patient-care goals which may include educational opportunities. 
• Recognize and assist in solving clinical and administrative problems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Education: Completion of a registered nurse program, BSN required

• Minimum Certifications and/or Licenses: Licensing as a registered nurse and BLS
• Minimum Skills: Experience with EMR, MS Word, Excel, MS outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, a high level of organization, and the ability to motivate and energize nursing staff in day-to-day operations and when implementing new programs or requirements.
