As a Locum Tenens Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be part of the Behavioral Health department, providing scheduled clinical hours only, with no inpatient or surgical center privileges required.

The facility, located in Georgia, is looking for a qualified candidate with active licensure in the state.

While the facility uses the Epic EMR system, it does not accept multiple providers, ensuring that you will have a focused and independent practice experience.

The practice setting is outpatient, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents in the community.

With no admissions required, you will be responsible for managing a varying number of patients per shift, and the patient load will be communicated to you upon further discussion.

This locum tenens position offers the flexibility of working either 4 days a week from 8 am to 6 pm or 5 days a week from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

The support staff includes a nurse on-site during face-to-face days, and on virtual days, there is a 911 chat with nurses to assist with virtual patients requiring wellness checks.

If necessary, nursing can help with rescheduling patients.

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include:


  • Providing daily supervision and mentorship
  • Managing household routines and student schedules
  • Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
  • Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
  • Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel

Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off.
