What will you do?

  • Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods

Base Salary Range

Qualifications: GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.

Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.

Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

Position Summary:

Working with Care Alliance Health Center patients as part of the Patient- Centered Medical team, Patient Care Coordinators address and reduce barriers to care. Activities include health care navigation, benefits enrollment and usage, population-specific interventions, community case management, and patient advocacy.

Cleveland Clinic’s Float Pool is dedicated to the care of post-operative urology and overflow surgical patients and focuses on pain control, return of bowel and bladder function, DVT prevention and ambulation. Patients in this unit range in age from young adult to geriatric, however, the most common patient population is approximately 65 years old. Some of the primary procedures performed on this unit include partial nephrectomy, radical nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy, urolithiasis, and cystectomy with continent/incontinent urinary diversion.

A caregiver in this position works day/night rotation, from 7:00am—7:30pm or 7:00pm—7:30am.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

- Provide direct nursing care.

- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.

- Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.

- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.

- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.

- Educate patients and their families.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)

- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross

- One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements:

- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.

In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.Responsibilities include:

Providing daily supervision and mentorship

Managing household routines and student schedules
