Pride Health is hiring for a Safety Specialist to support our client’s medical facility based in Rossford, OH. This is a 6-month opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Identify and inform management of compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of weekly and monthly audits
• Facilitate investigation process
• Maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and regulations
• Enter Information in internal database in a timely manner
• Perform observations & audits
• Train and assist others (Area Managers, team members, etc.) to complete their responsibilities (Audits, Follow Rules, etc.)
• Perform specific training as required by the Manager
• May have additional responsibility for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other related activities depending on the business unit and location
• Participate in process improvement activities and manage actions to completion

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum of 1 years in an Environmental & (EHS) related field or bachelor’s degree in related field
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the work place
• Available to work flexible shifts including days, nights and/or weekends

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a related field
• Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills
• Experience leading and managing a team Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential concerns and conduct job hazard and job analyses
• Experienced in response and currently holds and certificates Experience in Worker’s case management
• Passion for safety
• Experience in healthcare or industrial settings
• Experience with OSHA regulations
• Experience with Workers Compensation

Job Title: Safety Specialist

Location: Rossford, OH

Training Schedule: Training will take place for three weeks on a dayshift M-F.

Shift Schedule: Shift will likely be a a dayshift Sun-weds or Weds-Sun schedule (Approx 7-18:30) This is subject to change.

Pay Range: Local- $30 to $35/hr (*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)

As a Home Furnishings 1.0 associate, you will contribute to profitable sales growth by combining in-depth product knowledge and a passion for service to build clientele and meet sales goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Sales - Greets and assists customers in finding products and delivers exceptional customer service. Inform customers of key product attributes and care/protection plans to generate interest and suggests additional products to customers. Meets or exceeds sales goals and productivity standards. Partners with team members and actively listens to all customer issues. Promotes FindMore, assists with credit, reward, and gift card programs and engages customers to support the company's credit application process.
