Position Summary
The Georgia Mission of Mercy (GMOM) Coordinator provides part-time (8-10 hours per week) administrative and coordination support for the GMOM program, helping ensure smooth planning and execution of each clinic event. The Head of Trade & Customs Compliance is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the movement of goods across international borders. You will design, implement, and lead a world-class trade compliance program that ensures our manufacturing operations remain seamless, legal, and cost-effective. As a strategic advisor to the executive team, you will navigate the complexities of global trade regulations (EAR, CTPAT, OFAC, Customs) while mitigating risks associated with our global supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global trade compliance strategy that aligns with the company's manufacturing and expansion goals.
- Ensure total compliance with international regulations, including Import/Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and local Customs laws in all operating regions.
- Oversee the accurate assignment of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), and country-of-origin determinations.
- Lead internal audits and risk assessments. Manage disclosures, protests, and government inquiries/audits from agencies like U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Duty Drawback programs, and Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs).
- Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for shipping, documentation, and record-keeping across all global sites.
- Partner and work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Legal, Logistics, and Purchasing to ensure trade considerations are integrated into the product lifecycle and sourcing decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Law, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s or JD preferred).
- 15+ years in global trade compliance, specifically within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience managing and leading teams.
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified U.S. Import Compliance Officer (CUSICO).
- Proficiency with Global Trade Management (GTM) software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Deep knowledge of sanctions screening and forced labor prevention (UFLPA).
- Knowledge of ITAR/EAR, CTPAT and global ESG/Sourcing transparency mandates.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both English and Korean.
- Ability to interpret complex legal language and apply it to operational workflows.
- Proven track record of building a culture of compliance across diverse, global teams.
- Ability to pivot quickly in response to shifting geopolitical landscapes and trade wars.
Overview
We’re seeking a Senior IT Program Manager with expertise in Transportation & Logistics Program Management to lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives across transportation, delivery management, and supply chain operations. This role owns the end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale programs, with a strong focus on DOT compliance, on-time fulfillment (OTF), driver exceptions, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

Compensation

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Job DetailsDescriptionThis position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining centers, mills, lathes, and router equipment. The Machine Operator produces quality product according to precise specifications within time constraints. At some locations, this position will also include general warehouse duties such as shipping and receiving. In this position, the employee will work with moderate supervision.
Essential Functions- Sets up and operates production machinery such as CNC saws, lathes, milling machines, drills, shapers, boring mills and grinders to fabricate and repair parts and products. Works with some guidance from supervision.
- Reading and Interpreting Documentation and Product Quality - Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, and parts lists. Studies and interprets assembly instructions and verifies specifications. Conducts dimensional and visual part inspections to prints and specifications using standard quality assurance inspection equipment.
- Responsible for maintenance of equipment - Completes preventative maintenance, troubleshoots malfunctions, and performs minor repairs as needed. Communicates errors in product, equipment, and other issues that may arise in fulfilling orders.
- Performs general warehouse duties - Fills orders in a timely manner by operating warehouse equipment and machinery including operating a forklift, computing and optimizing yields, and cutting material to size. Loads and unloads delivery trucks as needed, using SAP to receive and ship materials. Processes operational activities in SAP through work orders and prepares proper documentation including transfer orders, bills of lading, delivery notes, work orders, call tags for non-conforming material and others as required.
- Problem solving and Communication - Resolves assembly and production issues and communicates errors in the product line, equipment and or issues in fulfilling orders.
