Position Overview
Tufts Medical Center and Tufts Medicine are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiologist to join our Department of Radiology, with primary clinical responsibilities based at MelroseWakefield Hospital (MWH). This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to practice in a thriving community hospital environment while maintaining strong academic affiliation and collaboration with Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
The ideal candidate will be proficient across a broad range of interventional radiology procedures and interested in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a community setting. This role includes procedural work, diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient consultations, and opportunities for teaching, collaboration, and professional development through the Tufts academic system.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform a broad spectrum of interventional procedures -including vascular access, biopsies, drainages, embolization, and other minimally invasive therapies- within a community hospital setting.
· Interpret diagnostic imaging studies to support safe and effective procedural planning.
· Provide inpatient and outpatient IR consultations, evaluate patients pre- and post-procedure, and support continuity of care.
· Collaborate closely with local care teams at MelroseWakefield Hospital, including surgery, emergency medicine, oncology, and primary care.
· Participate in multidisciplinary discussions, rounds, and case reviews to support coordinated, high-quality patient care.
· Provide clear patient education regarding procedures, expectations, and follow-up plans.
· Engage in quality improvement initiatives and help support continued program development in community-based interventional radiology.
· Maintain strong collaboration with Tufts Medical Center faculty, with optional participation in academic activities, teaching, and research depending on interest.
· Ensure thorough and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and system standards.
Qualifications
· MD or DO degree.
· Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
· Strong procedural and diagnostic skills applicable to a community hospital practice.
· Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
· Commitment to compassionate, high-quality care for a diverse patient population.

The salary range for this position is $425,000.00 - $450,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.

Seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for Outpatient Behavioral Health Services.Major Responsibilities:
- Ensuring proper medication management for ambulatory patients.
- Provide supervision to providers (MDs and NPs) in the designated areas.
