- Professional Engineering (PE) License (Texas or New Mexico preferred) must have current, active licensure in Texas or New Mexico, or current, active licensure in a US jurisdiction and the ability to obtain licensure in Texas and New Mexico with 6 months. No disciplinary action taken on any professional license for technical or ethical issues

- We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing and production quality. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in quality engineering. This role requires expertise in GD&T and Root Cause Analysis, with preferred experience in welding, AWS, Statistical Process Control, KPI Management, and ISO 9001.
Responsibilities
- Audit processes, products, and quality systems to verify compliance with established regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct customer inspection visits to the plant to demonstrate compliance with product specifications.
- Generate control indicators to prioritize and monitor failures or deviations that require quick resolution.
- Implement process improvements and corrective actions based on analysis of failures in key product variables, quality critics, and customer complaints.
- Document, maintain, and update process MEFAs.
- Establish barriers/containment actions to ensure non-recurrence in corrective actions, complaints, failures, internal deviations, and late deviations.
- Prepare reports of inspections, tests, failures, and complaints.
- Oversee around 3-4 inspectors, assisting in training, scheduling, and ensuring quality and process standards are maintained.

The Test and Evaluation Engineer will not only execute tests but will be responsible for architecting the test strategy itself, developing all required documentation and artifacts from the ground up to create a repeatable, high-assurance validation process.
About the Role
The System Test and Evaluation Engineer is a critical role responsible for the end-to-end validation of the complex, multi-vendor Joint Simulation Environment (JSE). This individual will ensure the stability, performance, and operational readiness of the entire technology stack, from the physical hardware layer to the application services. The Test and Evaluation Engineer will not only execute tests but will be responsible for architecting the test strategy itself, developing all required documentation and artifacts from the ground up to create a repeatable, high-assurance validation process.
Responsibilities
- Test Architecture & Development: Author and maintain comprehensive, from-scratch system test plans, detailed test procedures, and execution checklists that cover the full scope of the JSE architecture.
- End-to-End Test Execution: Perform hands-on validation of the entire system, systematically verifying each architectural block to isolate faults and ensure proper integration.
- Systematic Validation:
- Physical Layer (Layer 0/1): Validate that all hardware components (servers, switches, storage arrays) power on correctly, pass their Power-On Self Tests (POST), and establish stable physical data links.
- Network Fabric (Layer 2/3): Verify that the network infrastructure functions as designed, including proper switch uplinks, VLAN segmentation, firewall policy enforcement, and the correct operation of network services like DHCP.
- Storage Subsystems: Test and validate the functionality of bulk storage arrays (e.g., Dell PowerStore, NetApp appliances) from both a back-end management and front-end data presentation (NFS/iSCSI) perspective.
- Operating Systems: Validate the correct installation, configuration, and security hardening of server operating systems, including Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8/9).
- Virtualization & Compute: Confirm that stateful hypervisor systems are performing correctly. Validate the deployment and functionality of VMware vSphere environments. Test the ability of stateless, diskless compute systems to successfully pull OS images from network storage as advertised.
- Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously record all test outcomes, documenting deltas from expected results, and gathering all necessary log files and screenshots to serve as test artifacts.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical findings, test results, and system behaviors into clear, concise, and understandable information for less technical decision-makers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI and Active or must be eligible for SAP (Special Access Program) clearance.
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in systems integration and testing.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience in testing complex, multi-vendor, integrated IT systems.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge across the entire technology stack, including:
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in the administration and testing of Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8/9) environments.
- Virtualization Platforms: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, including ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and virtual networking.
- Physical Layer Validation: Verifying system POST, hardware health (e.g., iDRAC/IPMI), and Layer 1 network connectivity.
- Network Infrastructure: Strong understanding of Layer 2 (VLANs, trunking) and Layer 3 (IP routing, firewall policies). Experience verifying network services like DHCP.

Pay range and compensation package
Compensation: $55/hr to $57/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. - Diagnose and resolve complex issues in electronic and digital controls systems.

Job Summary -- Essential Functions/Duties A Field Engineer III performs as a lead on more complex field engineering assignments and performs a variety of engineering assignments involving technology applications involved in the installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of complex electronic/mechanical equipment and systems.
Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties: Operate radars and other electronic equipment on a daily basis.
Maintain, sustain, and troubleshoot and repair analog and digital equipment used in radar transmitters, receivers, timing assemblies, data collection, and RF and digital transmission lines.
Construct electronic and RF chassis using industry standard fabrication techniques for wiring and packaging.
Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation Provide expert knowledge on Radio Frequency (RF) and RADAR principles Suggest improvements to processes and procedures to obtain efficiencies Implement test and troubleshooting processes Develop basic data analysis tools, processes, or products for analysis Analyze pre-test predictions to define data collection requirements Collect, QC, and analyze data; Identify and resolve basic data anomalies; Present test findings Assist in authoring final test products and present the findings to customers Perform other job-related duties, as required Desired Qualifications Experience with Maximo Requirements -- Education, Technical, and Work Experience An Associate's Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline, or formal academic/vocational/military training and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the specialty field are required for this position.
In addition, a Field Engineer III must possess the following qualifications: Broad knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of engineering that enable senior technical contributor-level performance on complex projects or programs Knowledge and skill sufficient to apply developments in engineering to solve problems in the specialty area Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Planning/organizational skills Candidates who do not meet the requirements will be considered for a lower level.
SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $91,062.40 to $170,456.00 annually.

Travel to remote company work locations may be required.
