Summary
The Safety Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing workplace safety activities for the Livermore corporate office and facilities operations. This role ensures the effective implementation of safety programs, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the continuous improvement of workplace safety practices.
This role will lead safety inspections, incident investigations, training programs, and regulatory compliance activities while identifying opportunities to strengthen safety processes and reduce workplace risk. This position works closely with Facilities, Operations, and other departments to promote a proactive safety culture and safe working environments.
In addition, this role will support facilities-related projects as needed and serve as a backup to the Senior Manager, Facilities & EHS when required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day safety activities across the Livermore facility.
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Evaluate existing safety practices and recommend improvements to processes, procedures, and safety controls to reduce workplace risk and strengthen safety performance.
- Promote and support a strong safety culture through collaboration with employees, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and preventive checks using MaintainX, including: Fire extinguisher inspections, Emergency exit light inspections and battery replacements, AED and emergency kit inspections, First aid kit inspections
- Perform workplace safety surveys and hazard assessments to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain safety equipment inventory and ensure equipment readiness and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including OSHA, CalOSHA, EPA, ANSI, NIOSH, NEC, and NFPA standards.

- Coordinate and deliver safety training programs including emergency response, life safety procedures, hazardous materials handling, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in safety, EHS, or facilities safety management
- Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA, CalOSHA, EPA, and related standards
- Experience implementing or supporting safety programs and compliance initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- A degree, trade certification, or equivalent experience in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or Facilities Management is preferred.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills across departments

In the Patient Care Manager RN Hybrid role, you are responsible for the supervision and coordination of clinical services and provide and direct provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician. You will engage with prospects, clients, and field representatives across multiple channels, providing consultative services to support navigation of consumer website and mobile app functionality.
Your responsibilities will include: Expertly Resolving Inquiries: Process transactions related to website services and ensure seamless client experiences.
Ticket Management: Create and update tickets on incidents, safeguard personal data, and update client information.
Account Assistance: Help clients in connecting/linking external accounts on the consumer website.
Issue Ownership: Take ownership of ticket issues and de-escalate calls when necessary to provide resolutions.
Business Presentation: Present business concepts and job resources while contributing to a culture of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Technology Advocacy: Embrace new technology and advocate for self-service capabilities by educating clients and field representatives.

Qualifications Associate's degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2 years related customer service experience with proven customer service skills.

Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of calls/case load with the greatest possible degree of accuracy.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide options.
Demonstrated computer experience with solid keyboarding skills and proficiency with current software packages.
