About The Role

With only two managers in the building overnight, the position requires sound judgment, calm decision‐making, and consistent follow‐through. • Partner with FSQA Supervisor to ensure adherence to GMPs, sanitation, and customer requirements
• Make real‐time decisions on staffing, sequencing, material flow, and downtime response
• Escalate issues appropriately while demonstrating strong independent judgment
• Conduct structured shift huddles and reinforce performance expectations
• Maintain disciplined reporting of production output, labor, downtime, and waste
• Coordinate with maintenance, warehouse, and route pulling teams to protect service levels

We are a 13-bed unit with 4 overflow antepartum rooms, 2 OR suites and a new 4 bed OB-ED. We have 24/7 coverage by a Hospitalist, along with a great group of physicians. Any laboring mom or preterm mom greater than 20 weeks may be seen on this unit; along with postpartum moms needing to be readmitted. Our goal is to adhere to the AWHONN standards. We closely monitor staffing to patient census which means-1:2 laboring patients, 1:1 active labor or C-section, 1:3 antepartum patients and 1:4 triage/OB-ED.
