Waterpark Maintenance Director
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Maintenance Director. In this role, you’ll oversee the water park maintenance operations, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives for ride maintenance, ride checks, repairs, costs, guest service satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute routine preventive maintenance schedules for all waterpark equipment, rides, filtration systems, pumps, and water features to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance on proper maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and ensuring efficient work processes.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets and ensure proper inventory of parts and supplies, making cost-effective decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- We do require that you have a background consisting of a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel/resort, waterpark, theme park, construction, or related field; or 2 years’ experience in management of a large maintenance staff covering multiple shifts and facilities.
- Have knowledge of water park rides and daily operations for a waterpark or leisure/vacation venue.
- Have knowledge of ride maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Certified pool operator certification required.
- Knowledge of air conditioning/heating systems, plumbing, building and all facility maintenance and management.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Tracking and interpreting signs of illegal entry
- Performing farm, traffic, building, city, and transport checks

Qualifications
GL-9: One year of specialized experience at the next lower level, including:
- Searching detained persons, vehicles, and surroundings
- Apprehending or restraining suspects in violation of law

GS-11: One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade, including:
- Using intelligence to monitor criminal threats and operations

Salary and Duty Location Recruitment Incentives and Benefits
Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.
Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, generous annual and sick leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.
LOCATION INCENTIVES: If you accept one of the duty locations listed below, you may be eligible to receive an additional 15%-25% of your salary each year for the first three (3) years of employment in addition to any overtime pay. Some locations may offer 25% for four (4) years.
Duty locations offering 25% recruitment incentives: Otay Mesa, San Francisco, San Ysidro, and Tecate, CA; Key West, FL; etc.
Duty locations offering 15% recruitment incentives: Honolulu, HI; Portal, ND; etc.

Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
- Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
- Enforcing laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping.
- Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats.
- Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity.
Education Substitution: A master's (or higher) degree or an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of specialized experience AND successfully completed graduate-level education.

- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Residency: Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.

We’re a rapidly expanding third-party logistics (3PL) company specializing in food distribution, and we’re looking for a seasoned Regional Quality Control Manager to drive food safety and regulatory compliance across our warehouse and kitchen operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep experience in USDA and FDA inspections, HACCP-certified expertise, and a passion for operational integrity.
You’ll be based out of either Allentown, PA or Ruther Glen, VA, but your impact will be felt across the country. With extensive travel and multi-site oversight, you’ll be the quality backbone of our fresh food supply chain—ensuring every facility meets the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, implement, and supervise comprehensive food safety and quality programs across multiple distribution centers and kitchen operations
- Conduct scheduled and unannounced audits, inspections, and peer reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Lead HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense teams at each location
- Ensure all sites meet USDA, FDA, SQF, GMP, and customer-specific audit protocols
- Oversee environmental and microbiological testing programs, including issue investigation and resolution
- Manage and mentor QA supervisors and quality control technicians across multiple facilities
- Introduce and maintain food safety frameworks including pesticide residue control, sanitation practices, pest management, and food defense protocols

- Serve as a liaison with government regulators, customers, and vendors regarding food safety and quality assurance matters

Job Purpose:
The Kitchen Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and overseeing Quality Assurance procedures in food manufacturing operations for Ready-to-Eat products. This role ensures compliance with food safety and quality standards and serves as a point of contact for regulatory inspections.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following)
- Supervise the Kitchen QA team during processing to verify compliance with GMPs, HACCP, Risk-Based Preventive Controls, Allergen Control, and SSOPs.
- Train associates on kitchen policies, departmental procedures, and job responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with customer food safety and hygiene requirements, product specifications, and proper documentation within the Kitchen QA department.
- Assist in researching and updating state Food Code regulations and maintaining Public Health Inspection reports.
- Oversee Kitchen QA Technicians and the Sanitation Lead.
- Regularly interact with Kitchen & Cheese Production Supervisors, the National QA Manager, the Kitchen/QA GM, the Cheese GM, the National Kitchen Manager, and the R&D Supervisor.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in Food Quality Assurance
- HACCP certification required
- Preferred training in Allergen Control and GMPs
- Additional certifications such as SQF Practitioner, Food Defense Coordinator, and PCQI are a plus
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with minimum vendor GMP and food safety requirements.
- Conduct internal audits of kitchen operations and maintain readiness for third-party audits.
- Investigate and resolve customer store complaints in a timely manner.
- Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies, including but not limited to FDA, USDA, and local health inspectors.
