Job Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by assisting with shipping and receiving activities while also helping prepare core materials for processing.

This role floats between departments as needed to ensure smooth workflow, accurate material handling, and timely processing.

Our Crew Members create a warm and friendly shopping experience in our stores. We answer questions, offer suggestions, and ensure our customers know they are welcomed and cared for. We entertain customers and make grocery shopping an exciting adventure.

Some responsibilities may include:

What We're Looking For in a Merchandise/Warehouse Handler

• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques/methods
• Attention to detail and solid time management
• Able to work independently and prioritize workload
• Able to lift, lower, push, or pull up to 75lbs. independently
• Mechanically inclined and able to assemble furniture using small hand tools
• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in warehouse receiving or retail back room preferred

What Would You Do as a Merchandise/Warehouse Handler?

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as emptying the trash, vacuuming/mopping walkways, cleaning restrooms, etc.
• Receive and unload incoming product while inspecting product for damages, loss or defects. Confirm accuracy of order.
• Assemble and prepare product for customer deliveries, showroom display and location transfers
• Assist customers with product pickups and drop offs, including loading and unloading as business needs require
• Work closely with visual merchandising specialist to complete floor moves and special projects

Position Overview

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an Operations team member to support international order fulfillment and export logistics from a centralized shipping desk environment.

This individual will be responsible for preparing and coordinating outbound international shipments, ensuring documentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and communication with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders throughout the shipment lifecycle.

This is a documentation heavy and coordination focused role supporting global shipments rather than a warehouse focused position.

Basic Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting shipping or export documentation in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
• Familiarity with international shipping carriers and documentation requirements
• Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures and quality documentation
• Strong written communication skills for documentation and coordination purposes
• Ability to manage multiple shipment workflows in a standardized process environment

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare international shipping documentation including commercial invoices and packing lists
• Generate export labels and shipment records for outbound orders
• Enter export shipment data into freight forwarder systems
• Utilize carrier platforms such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL for international booking and customs documentation
• Coordinate carrier scheduling for outbound domestic and international freight
• Obtain Certificates of Origin for international shipments through the Chamber of Commerce to ensure customs clearance and trade compliance
• Process Chamber issued certifications and product quality documentation as required by destination country
• Support Cash Against Documents shipments
• Coordinate consolidated international freight shipments
• Prepare country specific regulatory documentation including SFDA export documents for shipments to Saudi Arabia
• Provide shipment tracking and documentation updates to internal stakeholders
• Receive inbound materials and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders
• Communicate shipment discrepancies or documentation issues to internal teams
• Support compliance with internal quality systems and regulatory procedures
• Assist with troubleshooting shipment or documentation issues impacting order fulfillment
