JOB TITLE: Aluminum TIG Welder
REPORTS TO: Production Superintendent
PAY RANGE: $25.00 - $35.00/hourly DOE
SUMMARY
The Aluminum Structural Welder is responsible for performing welding tasks on aluminum materials using the GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) process in all positions. This role also includes handling miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities also include but are not limited to:
  • Prioritize safety and adhere to quality standards during all aluminum welding operations.
  • Configure welding machines according to job requirements or Welding Procedure Specifications for GTAW aluminum welding.
  • Utilize personal basic tools and equipment for welding tasks if not provided by the workplace.
  • Perform aluminum welding based on the required GTAW process and parameters.
  • Strictly follow welding procedure specifications for GTAW aluminum welding.
  • Prepare and set up welding cells for serial production runs of aluminum components.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas while ensuring proper care of equipment and facilities.
  • Adhere to all company policies and rules.
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail and focus on assigned tasks.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing aluminum products for shipment.
  • Report any hazardous work conditions or practices to the supervisor.
  • Capable of manually lifting raw materials, final products, and packed aluminum items for shipment, weighing up to 60 pounds or using a hoist.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • A willingness to learn and display a dependable work ethic.
  • Knowledge of welding equipment, including proper setup and usage for aluminum GTAW welding.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting documents presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. This includes safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals, and procedure manuals.
  • Familiarity with the metric system.
  • Capable of standing continuously for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work for 40+ hours per week.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Six months to one-year of relevant experience and/or training in aluminum welding.
  • Prior experience with aluminum GTAW welding is essential.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work environment involves exposure to various weather conditions, work in confined spaces or heights, prolonged standing and physical exertion as well as frequent bending, stooping and reaching. Noise levels may be moderate to high and may work in close contact with other team members.

As a US FOODS Night Warehouse Selector you will be responsible for preparing customer orders that grow our business, instilling and reinforcing safety above all else. We TEAM UP to deliver exact and damage-free orders. What You Bring to the Table

  • Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday Thursday.
    • At times weekends and holidays will required
  • Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred

Environmental Health & Safety Manager

This position requires a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety professional who will be able to use their skill, knowledge and experience to further our Environmental Health and Safety programs within our fast-paced work environment that includes operations that have never been attempted before!

Responsibilities:

The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will:

  • Manage the day-to-day and long-term activities/priorities of the EHS team which will include a combination of technicians, specialists and engineers
    • Coordinate with site leadership to ensure appropriate EHS involvement in department development/modification plans and procedure development
    • Represent the EHS department at site wide management meetings/briefings
    • Provide instructional guidance of job assignments, correct procedures and applicable techniques to perform specific skills; ensure accuracy and completion
    • Ensure mission and values are communicated to the team and are integrated within team goals, objectives, and work tasks
  • Implement all aspects of an occupational safety program, including processes, programs and documentation outlined by OSHA standards

    • Air permitting
    • Spill prevention/response
    • Storm water management
    • Waste water

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the design, development, and operational oversight of EHS disciplines
  • 3+ years of EHS management experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with an emphasis in occupational health and safety, environmental engineering or system safety engineering
  • Experience working in aerospace industry
  • Experience leading a team of EHS engineers and technicians
  • Experience implementing an occupational safety program, including processes, programs and documentation outlined by OSHA standards
  • Advanced knowledge of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

Project Planner, Real Estate

SpaceX is growing our Real Estate team with the addition of a Project Planner. SpaceX's corporate real estate portfolio currently includes owned and leased properties that provide office space, manufacturing, and support our test/launch/landing and related operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Property Inspections
    • Escort landlords, property managers, and insurance agents as needed
    • Complete internal property inspections to prepare for landlord visits
    • Identify projects/repairs that can be negotiated with the landlord for cost sharing
  • Project management with facilities, construction, and security projects that are triggered by the landlord or require landlord interaction
    • Scope and deliver projects for building maintenance and real estate tasks
    • Engage landlords from project approvals, status updates, through project completion
    • Ensure we are meeting all contractual lease requirements for maintenance and implement new contracts where needed
    • Source multiple bids for maintenance projects and maintenance contracts for new leases
  • Document organization
    • Assist with document organization in Smartsheet, Confluence, and Yardi
    • Certificates of Insurance for SpaceX and our maintenance contractors
    • Develop new reports for lease metric tracking
  • Create and take part in meetings and presentations with executive leadership

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of facilities or property management experience OR 5+ years of facilities or property management experience
