Position Responsibilities:
- Resolve airplane level requirements into system level requirements and resolve system level requirements into component requirements with time and cost efficient validation methods.
- Develop and evaluate system and subsystem architecture alternatives to meet project objectives and requirements.
- Conduct trade studies to analyze and compare alternatives, rapidly converging on preferred configurations through system simulations and development test programs.
- Lead and participate in system, component, and detailed design efforts, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to schedule and cost constraints to produce error-free, manufacturable specifications and drawings.
- Lead and support system- and component-level validation activities, including test plan development, consultation on iron bird and test rig setups, test monitoring, analysis, report authoring, supplier test report review and approval, failure analysis, and mitigation strategies.
- Drive certification efforts by creating required artifacts such as system safety analyses, failure modes and effects analyses (FMEA), and fault tree analyses (FTA); ensure traceability to regulatory requirements and resolve any regulatory conflicts.
- Support ongoing production by promptly addressing build issues at Boeing and supplier facilities, identifying and implementing design improvements to enhance build accuracy, production rate, and line safety, and resolving rejections, functional test failures, and flight squawks.
- Provide subject matter expertise to support global fleet operations, responding to airline and regulator inquiries, leading resolution of Service Related Problems (SRPs), and analyzing flight incidents to inform Safety Review Board (SRB) recommendations for the Continued Operational Safety Program (COSP).
- Collaborate effectively across functions and organizations within and outside Boeing, including manufacturing, avionics, crew operations, airplane safety, aerodynamics, supply chain management, BCA systems software, suppliers, airline customers, and regulatory agencies.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 1+ years of technical experience in an aerospace or similar regulated industry environment.

The P-8 Mission Systems Integration & Test team in Kent, WA. is seeking a Systems Engineer Support Analyst with P-8 Poseidon experience. We are looking for candidates that have operational experience functioning as a Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) to help test and improve the quality and capability of the P-8 Mission Systems software products and deliver the best possible solutions to our customers.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is excited to offer opportunities for a Industrial Maintenance Electricians, to join our team in Seattle, SeaTac, Renton, Tukwila, Kent, Auburn and Puyallup, Washington.As a Industrial Maintenance Electrician you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team installing, maintaining electrical equipment. Operate, install electrical systems and preform functional of building and plant equipment.

Position Responsibilities:
Operate, install electrical systems and perform functional testing of building and plant equipment (e.g., machines, motor controls, room re-models)
Determine if system should be shut down or work must be performed with power source on
Lock out, tag out, try out equipment and related systems
Perform primary and secondary testing on electrical breakers during routine maintenance; replace, update and retro fit breakers
Perform routine tests on high voltage switches and relays, using hi-potential test equipment (Hipot), replace switch or relay
Troubleshoot electric motors using appropriate test equipment
Monitor current, voltage, amperage, frequency and watts hours at sub-stations using online computing system
Check and service electrical systems, using infrared analysis sheets to locate hot spots in service panel
Service and maintain electrical systems on various types of overhead cranes
Operate, install electrical systems and perform functional test of building and plant equipment (e.g., machines, motor controls, room re-models)
Install and perform routine maintenance on all types of lighting fixtures (e.g., fluorescent, halide, standard); clean and check sockets, and replace ballast and bulbs
Run high voltage electrical cable from sub-station to unit station; cut and splice cable, test cable for resistance
Install, replace and repair fiber optic cable for computers and computing systems
Bend conduit and install junction boxes; pull wire of various gauge and color through conduit using a fish tape; install and connect switches and outlets
Check work after completion or after each operation; ensure job is per drawing and WAC, NEC codes; evaluate job for work to be performed (e.g., wire size, electrical load, conduit)
Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g. tiger lift, spider lift, snorkel lift), to access work areas
Install wire, crimp, terminate, and solder using tools (e.g., crimpers, wire cutters, soldering gun) in plant electrical systems
Establish/verify voltage, amperage, frequency and watts using test equipment (e.g., circuit trackers, sonic circuit chasers, volt, amperage meters)
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a βUS Personβ as defined by 22 C.F.R. Β§ 120.15 is required. βUS Personβ includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience as an Electrician or Apprentice.
1+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment.
Experience working from heights and using fall protection equipment with weight limitations .
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift.
Must be able to complete fall protection training.
Preferred Qualifications:
Electrician license (EL01 &/or EL 07) or an electrical card.
Crane related experience.
Experience with prime power.
Typical Education & Experience:
High school graduate or GED preferred.
