What you'll be doing

Patient care. You'll work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. You'll ensure quality renal care by completing monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administering medications according to physician orders.


Teamwork. You'll be a critical member of an interdisciplinary team to provide all required patient assessment and care planning activities. You'll also make sure center staffing requirements are met at all times under the direction of the Administrator and according to state regulations for staffing ratios.

Compensation and Benefits:

The Company reasonably expects to pay a base draw in the range of $90,000–$150,000 annually. This range reflects the base draw only and does not include commissions or other incentive compensation. Key Responsibilities

Responsible for providing pediatric emergency care coverage at John R. Oishei Children?s Hospital Emergency Department including Kids Express (fast track/urgent care). You must be able to obtain a complete history and physical exam on emergency department patients and formulate a plan of action regarding diagnosis and treatment in accordance with established protocols, order diagnostic tests, contact primary care providers, provide discharge instructions and identify and discuss cases that are complex with the Emergency Department Attending and consultants. Qualifications

Responsibilities: EDUCATION

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a degree as a Physician Assistant approved program with recorded certification or licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State (NYS); current NYS license. Physician Assistant school approved by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), and accredited by the American Medical Association (AMA) OR graduate of American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) approved Radiologist Assistant educational program
  • Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York with current NYS license

  • Registered Radiologist Assistants must possess and maintain ARRT certification in Radiography ARRT (R) and a New York State license as a Radiological Technologist

EXPERIENCE
