In this role, you'll create an energy that is both welcoming and exciting by taking pride in offering our guests a diverse and seasonally-inspired beverage menu, a warm conversation, and helpful suggestions. When you shine, our guests will look forward to relaxing with you after a long day. You'll also:

• Making drinks, pouring beer& wine, and taking care of corporate and leisure guests at the bar.
• Tapping beer kegs and serving draft beer and bottled alcoholic beverages.
• Taking orders and serving bar bites prepared by the cook
• Monitoring and managing alcohol sales and consumption consistent with NC Liquor Laws, including checking proper identification for the minimum age requirement of 21 years to purchase alcohol.
• Some heavy lifting is involved such as carrying beer kegs and cases
• Keeping bar, preparation, and other assigned areas clean, orderly and well stocked at all times.
• Balance shift reports and cash drawer, process credit card payments
• Answering general guest questions and providing information about the property, park and local area
• Pre and post shift clean up

Carowinds is looking for individuals to clean and maintains the cabins at the campground on a daily basis ensuring thoroughly cleaned facilities for our guests and associates. 

• Works with chemicals in accordance with all safety guidelines listed on the safety data sheets (SDS).  Uses cleaning equipment in accordance with the departmental safety guidelines and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
• Cleans and maintains all areas of a guest-room including making beds, cleaning bathroom fixtures, removing dirty linen, replacing all used guest amenities, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, mopping floors, etc.
• Responsible for completing guest-room task assignment daily, responding to guest requests and inquiries, reporting maintenance issues, collecting and labeling lost and found items, and responding to the requests of team leaders.
• Ensures that all assigned areas, which may include: hallways, pool area, video room, stairways, public bathrooms, public areas, lobby area, elevators, elevator landings, hallways, vending machines, and outdoor walkways are cleaned daily.
• Drives campground tram.

• The Grounds Attendants are responsible for upkeep and cleaning of outdoor public areas in Camp Wilderness.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of public restrooms facilities. Components include (but not limited to) sinks, toilets, urinals, showers, counters, floors, windows, and walls.
• Responsible for daily cleaning of charcoal grills, as well as proper disposal of coal and ash.
• Responsible for picking up and disposing trash, foliage, pet waste, and other litter throughout the facility.
• Responsible for daily changing and replacement of trash cans throughout assigned property and operates trash compactor.
• Ensures guest walkways and sidewalks are clear of debris, foliage, mulch, and dirt.
• Ensures the overall cleanliness of guest coin operated laundry facilities as well as washer and dryer equipment.
• Responsible for cleaning and de-cobwebing of wayfinding signs, fences/gates, and building structures.
• Responsible for upkeep and overall functionality of storage rooms and closets.

The Houseman requires an approachable, friendly and polished demeanor with a guest focus mindset.  As Houseman you will create a warm & welcome atmosphere throughout the hotel by maintaining clean and safe public spaces and delivering guest request. You will support the Housekeeping and Laundry Team and stay in good with all other departments to ensure the guest are well cared for and have a memorable stay experience while visiting the Carolinas!

• Have a warm and welcoming personality that can engage with guest and genuinely provide exceptional guest service and perform service recovery when needed.
• Perform routine troubleshooting for in-room issues and accommodate guest request
