Duties

- Participate in patient education initiatives, teaching patients about their conditions and treatment options.
- Assist in the management of patients in the ICU, including ventilator management when necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
- Experience or training in addiction counseling is a plus.
- Familiarity with internal medicine practices and geriatric care is beneficial.
- Previous experience working in outpatient settings or teaching hospitals is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Emergency Medicine Physician Job near Joliet, IL Northern Illinois: Full time EM physician position.
Earn up to $220.00 an hour with malpractice paid as I/C.
Level II trauma center with most specialty backups.
Plenty of patient coverage with physicians and midlevels.
Also use scribes in the emergency department 22 hours a day.
Scribes do the charting and the coding and perform almost as personal assistants to the ED physicians which greatly increases effeciency.
This emergency department is located within a couple of hours driving distance to Chicago, in a populus area.
The democratic group staffing the department is stable and has been with the hosptial for the last 23 years.
