This role combines the responsibilities of a leasing administrator and a finance professional, offering a unique challenge and an exciting opportunity to utilize your diverse skill set.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the multifamily leasing capacity, apartment and building improvements, and the nuances of the Accounting and Finance industry.

Responsibilities: As a Permanent Hybrid Leasing Admin, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Overseeing all aspects of leasing for multifamily apartments, ensuring all processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Managing Individual Apartment Improvements (IAI) and Major Capital Improvements (MCI) to ensure the quality and value of our properties.

Handling all apartment registrations and ensuring compliance with the Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) regulations.

Utilizing Yardi property management software for operational and financial reporting.

Coordinating with the accounting team to manage the financial aspects of our properties, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Managing the 421A tax incentive program to ensure we are maximizing our benefits.

Coordinating with other teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and high tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications: To be considered for this role, candidates must have: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, specifically dealing with multifamily apartments in a leasing capacity.

Proven experience with Individual Apartment Improvements (IAI) and Major Capital Improvements (MCI).

Familiarity with apartment registrations and DHCR regulations.

Proficiency in Yardi or a similar property management software.

A strong background in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to manage budgets, perform financial analysis, and understand financial reports.

Experience with the 421A tax incentive program.

Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
