Overview of Responsibilities
As a Meat/Seafood Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will be working in one of the most popular departments in our store! As a Meat/Seafood Clerk you are responsible for providing a high level of customer service, practicing safe food handling procedures and a high level of product knowledge and preparation techniques. A hands on position, the Meat/Seafood Clerk receives, stores, and grinds meats; unloads and transports fresh, cured, and boxed meats and poultry from delivery truck; counts and weighs incoming articles and compares results against an invoice; and examines meats in storage and rotates meats to avoid aging. A Meat/Seafood Clerk provides a high level of prompt and friendly customer service; assists customers with questions, and special orders and needs, while maintaining a positive, customer focused work environment. The Meat/Seafood Clerk has knowledge of weekly ad items; gives customers direction of product location throughout the store, and is able to perform and follow our Clean as You Go and Fresh at 4 Programs. - Be at least 18 years of age, and have a high school diploma or equivalent and have a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.

- Be able to lift/carry products horizontally/vertically between 25 to 90 lbs., from 4 to 60, a distance up to 10 feet for 20 hours.
- Be able to use a pallet jack to move pallets horizontally up to 500 lbs., requiring a force of up to 85 lbs., a distance up to 100 feet for up to 5 hours.
- Be able to horizontally move racks of products weighing up to 70 lbs., requiring a force up to 25 lbs., for a distance up to 50 feet for up to 10 hours.
- Be able to move tables weighing up to 70 lbs., requiring a force greater than 35 lbs., a distance up to 2 feet for up to 1 hour.

This is a part-time position, scheduled for three 8-hour shifts, and can be combined with another Sprouts part-time position. At Sprouts Farmers Market, the Schematic Coordinator requires a significant level of accuracy and responsibility to maintain the overall Non-Perishable Schematic integrity in their assigned store. This position conducts weekly resets and speed-to-shelf activities, ensuring compliance with all company schematic guidelines. Overview of Responsibilities
Having this position is very important to the company. Want to know why? The Receiver position is responsible for all functions and paperwork receiving. Sounds fun! Thats not all. This position operates machinery including baler, compactor, and forklift in a safe and proper manner. You are also responsible for maximizing sales potential through effective and proper procedures for receiving products entering the store. Qualifications
To be a Receiver at Sprouts Farmers Market you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED
- Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes; weekends and holidays
- Report any receiving discrepancies to Managers and Buyer(s) to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications, examines contents and compares with records, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy equipment
- Attends all applicable trainings, and be able to use or be certified in the use of appropriate equipment needed for store or facility, is able to comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently yet have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other team members and Store leadership and is able to knowledgeably communicate with service vendors
- Are you willing to put those muscles to the test? This position requires moving/transferring product weighing up to 60 lbs., from 5 to 56, for up to 30 feet for up to 30 hours without mechanical assistance. Crazy right!
- Must use pallet jack to horizontally transfer product weighing up to 1000 lbs., requiring a force up to 50 lbs., for a distance up to 150 feet for up to 40 hours.
- Vision required for reviewing invoices and monitoring incoming product.
- Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) ability to multi-task, ability to understand proper retail receiving, and basic computer knowledge
- Is able to execute other duties as needed

Job Introduction
The Dairy Clerk is responsible for keeping all store dairy and frozen cases stocked and clean during business hours. They are required to assist customers as needed while maintaining a friendly, energetic demeanor. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines set by the Dairy department.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Ensures cleanliness of dairy cases, storage area, and work area for safety. This includes the cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of liquid spills or water, removing hazardous debris from the floor, and sweeping
- Stocks dairy cases. This includes the presentation of product, facing, filling, and organization of all product items as set by the Dairy Department schematics as well as ensuring tag and pricing accuracy
- Examines the rotation of all dairy products paying particular attention to expired stock and discarding outdated or spoiled items
- Responds positively to customers inquiries and assists customers with purchases, information, and product selection; requires selling and cross selling of products
- Receives, inspects, and logs products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
- Monitors the point of purchase signs. Ensures a variety of recipe cards, product coupons, promotional material, and information on complimentary foods
- Requires operating and using equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Uses knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products
- Sustains a high level of product knowledge and product preparation
- Walks department regularly to ensure an organized, sanitary, and overall clean appearance at all times
- Other duties as assigned

- Coupling forces between 50-60 lbs. for up to 10 hours are required
- Must use a 2 step stool to access shelves for up to 1 step per 8 hours
- Must repetitively bend/squat to access a point 5 inches from the floor for up to 30 hours
- Requires standing continuously for up to 4 hours continuously, for a total of 8 hours per shift
- Will work inside controlled temperatures, as well as coolers/freezers
- Vision is required to order, stock and inventory all dairy products
- Walking up to 3 miles per 8 hours is expected
