Flight Nurse is part of the specialty transport team of experts to safely transport patients between medical facilities and accident scenes. Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
- Within 1 year of hire: National Trauma Nursing Core Course - Emergency Nurses Association
- Within 2 years of hire:
- Neonatal Pediatric Transport Subspecialty Certification (C-NPT) -OR-
- Registered Nurse Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB) -OR-
- Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN)
- 3 or more years of experience in acute care nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of PICU, NICU, and/or L&D experience
- 3 or more years of Flight Nursing/Specialty Transport Nursing
