The Boise Heart Institute is now hiring for a Cardiac Device Specialist that can be either a Medical Assistant OR Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist!
Position Summary & Highlights:The Cardiac Device Specialist takes responsibility for performing interrogations and device testing of internal cardiac devices including cardiac pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, and loop recorder procedures according to protocol and professional standards.
The clinic offers a lot of educational opportunities with bi-weekly lunch and learns with providers and content experts. They also offer online learning modules during orientation to help with cardiac knowledge base.

Provide education to patients regarding manufacturer equipment and device knowledge.
Competently care for the following age groups: Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric as applicable.
Support efficient clinic flow and communicate accurately and positively with team members.
Ensure the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to the patients.
Device Operation/Checks:
Interrogate and complete device testing of internal cardiac device per competency guidelines.
Upload all interrogation and device testing reports to the HER per competency guidelines.
Monitor and create remote download reports for physicians through competency guidelines.
Review accuracy of downloaded device information, edit the information, and enter it into manufacturer sites and the EHR systems.
Schedule patients for appointments appropriately.
May be required to travel between clinics.
Work Schedule:
40 hours a week - 5 - 8 hour shifts, Mondays - Fridays.
Around the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm
Must be a Medical Assistant – OR - possess Exercise Physiology Certification as stated below:

Position Summary & Highlights:This MA position will be primarily supporting an established provider to the clinic.

Our board-certified pulmonary physicians serve critically ill patients, from children to adults within the hospital and in their outpatient clinic.
The outpatient clinic specializes in treating individuals with acute, chronic and recurring conditions of the respiratory system.
You will work with a team of MAs, an RN, and providers, and will work with an efficient clinic workflow.
This position will be a combination of direct patient care and also administrative tasks such as processing orders, prior authorizations, in-basket/task inbox, patient phone calls, and referrals.

About this position: As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You will serve as a patient advocate by promoting their physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You will also be expected to educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.
About our ideal candidate: Our ideal candidate will have at least a year of circulating experience and will have a desire to work in a fast-paced exciting team environment.
Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

The Boise Pulmonary Clinic is looking to hire a team-oriented and motivated Medical Assistant for our clinic located on the Boise Regional Medical Center campus!
Position Summary & Highlights:This MA position will be primarily supporting an established provider to the clinic.
Saint Alphonsus Pulmonary Services is proud to treat pulmonary patients in Boise and the surrounding communities offering high-quality compassionate personalized pulmonary care.
Our board-certified pulmonary physicians serve critically ill patients, from children to adults within the hospital and in their outpatient clinic.
The outpatient clinic specializes in treating individuals with acute, chronic and recurring conditions of the respiratory system.
You will work with a team of MAs, an RN, and providers, and will work with an efficient clinic workflow.
This position will be a combination of direct patient care and also administrative tasks such as processing orders, prior authorizations, in-basket/task inbox, patient phone calls, and referrals.
An ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude.
You will also be adaptable, detail-oriented, have strong critical thinking skills, and excellent follow-through.
Work Schedule:
36 hours per week, 4 - 9 hour days
7:00am - 5:30pm.

The Occupational Medicine clinics are hiring for an outgoing and compassionate Medical Assistant as a float to our Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell clinics!
Saint Alphonsus Occupational Medicine works closely with employers to minimize costs of work-related injuries and illnesses.
This MA position will work as a float in Occupational Medicine, working primarily between the Boise clinic (located on West Emerald), the Nampa clinic (located at the Garrity clinic near the Nampa Medical Center), and the new Caldwell clinic location.
These clinics see both scheduled and walk-in patients making each day different regarding patient volumes and patient complexity.
Often times patients are visiting the clinic due to being injured on the job, which can be a very critical and sensitive time for these individuals.
You will work as an MA float 2-3 days per week in Occupational Medicine, working primarily between the Boise clinic (located on West Emerald), the Nampa clinic (located at the Garrity clinic near the Nampa Medical Center), and the new Caldwell clinic (located on Aviation Way).
You will also work in the front office 2 days per week in a patient service rep role, checking in patients, verifying insurance, etc.
In the back office in the MA role you will assist patients with navigating the workers compensation system, perform drug screen collection, breath/alcohol testing, pulmonary function testing, TB testing, vaccinations, spirometry, EKGs, and audiograms.
Process paperwork and work through the workers compensation process, including initiating, processing, and communicating with sureties and specialists pertaining to referrals.
You will also work and be crossed trained in front office duties by our patient services reps.
You will also have the opportunity to become certified in drug testing collection, breath/alcohol testing, and pulmonary function testing.
An ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish or have a medical interpreter certification.
You will have experience with providing a high level of customer/patient service as well as a high level of compassion and have an understanding of workers compensation as it pertains to occupational medicine.
You will be open and honest and enjoy providing feedback and solutions to resolve problems.
You will enjoy learning and have strong time management and prioritizing skills.

Position Summary & Highlights:The Cardiac Device Specialist takes responsibility for performing interrogations and device testing of internal cardiac devices including cardiac pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, and loop recorder procedures according to protocol and professional standards.

Review accuracy of downloaded device information, edit the information, and enter it into manufacturer sites and the EHR systems.
Schedule patients for appointments appropriately.
May be required to travel between clinics.
