• Lead or assist in workplace investigations, addressing concerns professionally and promptly.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Illinois and Wisconsin labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience working with Paycor or similar HR/payroll systems.
• Ability to travel between Illinois and Wisconsin locations as needed.
• Professional HR certification (PHR or SHRM‑CP) preferred.

Reports To: Equipment Procurement Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Equipment Procurement Coordinator supports the Equipment Procurement Manager in all corporate purchasing functions, including equipment acquisition, data management, reporting, and compliance with procurement policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and oversee multiple vegetation management projects simultaneously.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of vehicle and equipment purchases and rentals.
- Source equipment and negotiate competitive pricing with vendors.
- Issue and manage purchase orders for equipment.
- Review invoices and statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Track and document pertinent data, purchase timelines, and prepare corresponding reports.
- Document specifications created by INTREN for equipment and tooling using the Capital Acquisition Disposal Requisition process.

Job Title: Work Planner
Reports To: Project Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The primary responsibility for this position is to analyze and prepare work pouches for electrical distribution and transmission systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assemble all necessary information for a complete job pouch.
- Identify SRS outages and isolation points.
- Research, build, update and progress work orders through multiple software systems.
- Populate and run reports in internal and customer software systems.
- As part of the planning process, acquire permits and order materials as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by Project or Assistant Project Manager.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and strong computer literacy. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to organize and prioritize work.

The Role
Gallant is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our growing Preconstruction Services team in Crystal Lake, IL. This role is critical to project success and client trust, working closely with Business Development, Operations, subcontractors, and clients.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and GMPs across all design phases
- Lead estimating efforts for projects ranging from $1M–$10M+, including ground-up construction, renovations, tenant improvements, and site work
- Develop a clear estimating strategy for each project, identifying scope, risks, assumptions, and opportunities
- Solicit, level, and evaluate subcontractor pricing and support buyout
- Clearly communicate costs and options to clients and internal teams
- Provide thorough documentation and support a strong handoff to Operations
- Proactively identify challenges and help the team find a way forward
- Support and mentor team members as the Preconstruction group grows

- 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
