The role:
As Program Manager you will report to the Chair of the Board of Directors and will work very closely with the entire Board of Directors, which is a working Board, and all members are very involved in the organization.
You will:
- Work remotely, but must live in the Fort Wayne, IN area
- Lead, measure, and find continuing resources for the current programs including: Ten Point Coalition, LIVE Session, Friday Tie Day, and Late Night Basketball
- Provide staff support to these programs, including being on-site for some of the programs
- Create and help fund new programs, in partnership with the Board and the Program Committee
- Be an integral part of a nonprofit that is in a building phase as a newly formed 501(c)(3)
- Interact with the program participants as well as meet with funders
- Have a 40 hour work week that will include your enjoying flexible scheduling, as some programs are in the evening
- Spend your first 60 days learning about the different programs, becoming well acquainted with the Board members, talking with the stakeholders, and learning the history of Fort Wayne UNITED

Job Summary
The Safety Advisor is responsible for supporting, implementing, and overseeing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs on active project sites. This role partners closely with client teams, project management, and field personnel to ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations, promote a strong safety culture, and reduce risk through proactive planning, monitoring, and coaching. IMMEDIATE OPENING IN FORT WAYNE, INDIANA. NO PER DIEM.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with client teams to plan, implement, and supervise project-specific Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
- Monitor field activities to identify safety violations, incidents, and trends, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote and reinforce a positive safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and engagement with field team members.
- Conduct and document daily field safety audits, inspections, and observations.
- Attend and actively participate in project safety meetings, including pre-construction meetings, coordination meetings, and toolbox talks.
- Assist with investigations involving injuries, near misses, property damage, and general liability incidents, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
- Oversee and manage site safety orientation processes for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of written site-specific safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), particularly for high-risk activities.
- Create and deliver relevant weekly safety talks based on site conditions, work scope, and identified hazards.
- Present safety information during Safety Stand Downs, pre-shift huddles, and special safety initiatives.
- Educate project teams on applicable Federal, State, and local occupational safety and health regulations and monitor regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
Required Qualifications
- CHST/CSP/STSC Certification
- OSHA 510
- Proven experience in a Safety Advisor, Safety Officer, or similar EHS role within construction, industrial, or project-based environments.
- Demonstrated experience with scaffolding safety, including inspection, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable Federal and State safety standards.
- Ability to conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence personnel at all levels.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or equivalent).
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Experience working on large or multi-contractor project sites.

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established tool and die manufacturing job shop that specializes in precision tooling, molds, fixtures, and dies used in metal and thermoforming production. This is a key role within the organization, responsible for developing accurate project estimates and supporting the sales and engineering teams in preparing competitive quotes for customers.
This position is open due to a retirement, and the outgoing estimator is currently working with the team to ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer. The estimator will collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams to determine the cost, materials, labor, and production requirements for custom tooling projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotes for custom tooling, molds, fixtures, and dies.
- Review RFQs, drawings, and project specifications to determine scope, materials, labor, and production requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and design teams to gather project requirements such as durability, material specifications, and operating conditions.
- Calculate costs related to: Raw materials (steel, specialty metals, etc.), Labor and machining time, Outsourced processes or third-party services, Shipping and logistics
- Develop detailed proposals and pricing structures for customers.
- Maintain documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost breakdowns, and pricing data.
- Evaluate project timelines and production requirements to ensure estimates align with manufacturing capabilities.
- Track projects and adjust estimates when production costs or timelines change.
- Support the sales and engineering teams by ensuring quotes are competitive and technically accurate.
