General Summary:

The Physician Assistant (PA) in Zepf Center?s Primary Care Department provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services within an integrated healthcare setting. The PA will conduct health assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe and monitor medications, and provide preventive and follow-up care for a diverse patient population across the lifespan. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Practices in accordance with Ohio laws governing Physician Assistants, maintaining a current supervisory agreement with a licensed physician as required by the Ohio Revised Code and State Medical Board of Ohio.
  • Collaborates with the supervising physician for consultation and review, escalating cases as required by scope of practice or supervisory agreement.
  • Conducts comprehensive medical evaluations, including physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care; monitors the effectiveness of interventions and modifies treatment as clinically appropriate.
  • Prescribes, dispenses, and manages medications in accordance with Ohio PA licensure and DEA authority; monitors efficacy, side effects, and patient adherence.
