We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Manchester, New Hampshire.
This position focuses primarily on providing backup call coverage for gynecologic emergencies.
While the role involves handling pregnancy-related cases, it does not include obstetric duties.
Key Responsibilities: Address pregnancy-related emergencies such as ectopic pregnancies, molar pregnancies, and severe vaginal bleeding in early gestation.
Manage non-pregnancy gynecologic emergencies including ovarian torsion, acute adnexal masses, and complex pelvic inflammatory disease.
Respond to cases involving heavy abnormal uterine bleeding, complicated Bartholin???s abscesses, and large fibroid degeneration.
Schedule and Coverage Details: 24-hour backup call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM.
Coverage is required on select dates from August through December, with a frequency of less than five call-ins per year.
This is an inpatient-only role with no clinic responsibilities.
The hospital operates a 24/7 mid-wife model with a physician and mid-wife always in-house.
