POSITION SUMMARY

The Payroll Specialist will carry out the organizations’ payroll functions for union employees, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Process all union employee changes including but not limited to, new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, position changes, department changes, etc.
  2. Prepare and balance multi-state payroll runs.
  3. Prepare reconciliation reports, year-end reports, and reports for tax purposes.
  4. Perform year-end verification of W2s and 1095s.
  5. Manage and oversee all union employee time off accruals.
  6. Respond to employment verification requests and other income related inquiries from external agencies and government agencies.
  7. Respond to internal inquiries regarding rates of pay, time reporting, etc.
  8. Assist Payroll Manager with ongoing tasks.
  9. Perform payroll-related functions including filing, scanning, and general administrative duties.
  10. Handle additional responsibilities, as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of union payroll experience strongly preferred.

  • Extensive knowledge of the union payroll function including working with multiple unions across various locations simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 The Opportunity

We’re expanding our rental business under the Warhorse Rentals brand and seeking a relationship-driven outside sales pro to capture market share in Northeastern PA. You’ll represent premium John Deere construction equipment and allied lines, delivering value to contractors through speed, accuracy, and follow-through.

§ Driving a high-activity field rhythm: jobsite visits, ride-alongs, and demos

 What You’ll Do

§ Hunt & Farm: Identify new projects/accounts while deepening relationships with existing customers

§ Pipeline Management: Build and track opportunities; log every touch in CRM

§ Quotes & Proposals: Prepare and present rental solutions; negotiate terms professionally

§ Customer Care: Own the process from quote → delivery → pickup; communicate proactively

§ Market Intel: Monitor competitors, pricing, and trends; share insights with leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

 What Makes You a Fit

§ 2+ years of successful outside sales in construction, rental, or related industry

§ Working knowledge of construction equipment and applications

§ Strong closer & connector with exceptional communication skills

§ Tech-savvy: ERP/CDK experience, Microsoft Office, CRM usage

§ Road-ready: valid driver’s license, clean MVR, ability to work in outdoor conditions

§ Self-starter with a competitive, team-oriented mindset

Department: St Mary's Behavioral Health

Location: Unity Hospital

Hours Per Week: Full Time - 36 hours

Schedule: Day/Night rotation; 12-hour shifts; every other weekend and holiday.

St Mary's Campus

St Mary's is a 20-bed, inpatient behavioral health facility located at 65 Genesee Street. Our team assists patients with problem solving and safety planning and connects them to other programs and resources for a variety of ongoing mental health and substance use conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care.

- Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data (i.e. physical, psychological, educational and risk-screen data appropriate for the chronological / developmental age of the patient).

- Communicates and documents assessment of patient with the interdisciplinary team. Utilizes all available resources in order to meet the needs of the patient and family.

- Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services which is individualized and appropriate for the patient needs, strengths, limitations and goals.

- Complies with organizational policies, procedures and protocols including policies governing safety, medication administration and documentation.

- Revises plan of care based on ongoing evaluations and updates documentation appropriately.

- Completes at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form for submission to Nursing Research Department utilizing a research article from the last 5 years from research performed in the United States.

- Completes a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) per year.

- Completes mandatory in-services and health screens in timely manner.

- Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing

- Registered Nurse license in New York State.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

- At least 6 months experience preferred.
