Quad is currently seeking an experienced Second Press Operator for our Sussex, WI location. This position will set-up, operate and maintain the press and auxiliary equipment related to the press. The Press Operator will direct the activities of press crew with assigned tasks during down time and make-ready periods.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Make-ready and operate press based upon written instructions provided.
- Establish and maintain color and/or fold and mechanical quality to BPC standards.
- Continuously monitor product for quality and approve or reject.
- Direct and coordinate activities of assigned crew members.
- Perform assigned make-ready duties.
- Complete required general maintenance and lubrication assignments.
- Complete required documentation, electronic and paper, for assigned job.
- Perform duties of other Print Service manufacturing positions as needed, following requisite training.
- Provide training for employees so the crew members can provide coverage for each other and/or prepare them for future positions.
- Follow all safety policies and regulations, report any potential hazards, near-misses, or accidents immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Quad is seeking Distribution Technicians (Forklift Operators)3rd shift to join our Midwest Commingle Center in Waukesha, WI !
The wage range is $17.50 - $19.00+ depending on experience.
Distribution Technicians are responsible for the following:
- Freight -loading and unloading of finished products and materials from semi-trailers and auto-wrappers using a forklift.
- Inventory control- maintaining accurate inventories with the use of a PC and RF bar code scanning system.
- Warehousing - supplying machines with materials needed
Required Qualifications:
- Good verbal and reading comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and work independently with minimal supervision

Quad in Sussex is seeking First Press Operators within our Press Department. These positions are responsible for set up and operation of Press equipment to customer-supplied specifications while maintaining production by planning and organizing jobs and continuously monitoring quality. Additionally, operators are responsible for cleanliness and keeping press maintained mechanically. Some positions will have direct reports.
Responsibilities Also Include
- Planning and organizing jobs by reviewing schedules and job tickets, identifying priorities, assigning roles, and maintaining production records.

- Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
- Must have eye/hand coordination when inside the unit while making adjustments.
- Must have ability to utilize the computer to ensure quality of the product.

Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Engineering Support

- Support coordination with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe, compliant execution
- Assist with inspections and troubleshooting of facility systems such as HVAC, power distribution, fire protection, compressed air, vacuum, wastewater, steam/condensate, and utility systems
- Help identify energy and material waste and support continuous improvement efforts

Quad in Pewaukee is seeking Skilled Finishing Machine Operators responsible for the set up and operation of finishing equipment (including inserters, folders, flat cutters, dabbers, and offline mailers). Quad relies on the Finishing Operator to help ensure that all finished products meet or exceed our customers’ expectations and to help in reducing the cost of errors through consistent work quality. In addition, the individual selected for this role will be expected to lead by example by holding employees accountable for Quad's safety initiatives.
Responsibilities Also Include:
•Setup and operate various bindery equipment which may include cutting, folding, scoring, stitching, and gluing equipment by Company policies and procedures.
•Observe and monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed. Perform routine adjustments as well as perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned equipment during shift
•Check order documentation, verify accuracy, and communicate order information and additional instructions to support staff to prepare for order production.
•Establish the most efficient manner to run the products through assigned machine to produce the expected quality and quantity. Make ready for production by setting up machine components to create products in line with customer specifications.
Qualifications
