The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to clinical excellence in non-invasive cardiology.
Provide comprehensive

outpatient and inpatient general cardiology

services

Interpret non-invasive studies including:
Echocardiography

Stress testing

EKG and Holter monitoring

Participate in hospital rounding and consults

Share call responsibilities with other cardiologists in the region

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists

Help build and shape the cardiology service line at a new, state-of-the-art hospital

Qualifications:

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease

Board certified/board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease

Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Georgia

Wellstar Medical Group has a full-time opening for a sleep trained Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to work at Columbia County Hospital for critical care and pulmonary inpatient work.

They will also work in the outpatient pulmonary clinic.

In a 4-week block, the physician will work 1 week (7 days) ICU, 1 week (7 days) off, 2 weeks of pulmonary (inpatient and clinic).

When Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center and the adjacent medical office building open in 2026, the full-service acute care hospital will feature 100 inpatient beds; an emergency department expected to become a Level II trauma center; a surgical platform that will include operating rooms, catheterization laboratories, and interventional radiology and endoscopy; and a 90,000-square-foot medical office building that will offer primary care, women's health care and other specialties.

Job Summary:

The assistant nurse manager is a registered professional nurse who provides support and works in conjunction with the nurse manager of a specific unit(s) or service. He/she is viewed as aspiring to be a nurse manager and through this role to learn additional knowledge and skills through experience and mentoring by the nurse manager and the hospital/system. The assistant nurse manager must possess very good skills in communication and teamwork and serve as a mentor for others while learning the responsibilities of his/her role. Performs ear irrigations, eye patches, fitting of crutches, slings and ace wraps and splints. The position is also used as a patient flow coordinator (Lead) and helps ensure patients are getting to open rooms and EMS traffic is directed appropriately.

- The Cardiac Sonographer functions under the direction of the Manager or Lead/Chief Sonographer and is responsible for performing all cardiac imaging; which includes, if performed at your designated facility, adult, pediatric, transesophageal (including structural heart) and stress echocardiograms.
- Performs measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol, provides an oral summary of preliminary findings to the interpreting Physician, if requested.

- Required documentation is concise, legible and includes precise terminology.
- Reads email each day scheduled to work and follows through with assignment.
- Completes mandatory departmental and Hospital-wide education without prompting.

Quality Control

- Ensures that equipment is fully operational prior to each use, by checking for proper calibration and operating deficiencies.
- Sends all studies to PACS immediately after completion, prints CDs as needed.

Operations

- Restocks linens and supplies, and maintains the department in clean and orderly condition.
- Transports patients, positions patients, and helps them on and off procedure table.

Job Summary:

Responsible for administering and managing all forms of respiratory care in accordance with physician orders and current
clinical standards. The Respiratory Therapist will function as a workgroup leader and unit coordinator administering and
recommending care per protocol for the assigned unit.

Acts as Care Coordinator for Assigned unit. Develops, administers, evaluates and modifies Respiratory Patient
Care Plans in the acute care setting, using evidence-based medicine, protocols and clinical practice guidelines

competency in invasive and non-invasive critical procedures and equipment. Serves as a respiratory
