Job Summary:

The RF Microelectronics/Module Design & Foundry Services Department at Raytheon in Andover, MA, is currently seeking a Principal Electro-Mechanical Engineer to develop leading-edge miniaturized 3DHI sensors and systems to enable future generation technologies across Raytheon.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated “self-starter” who will apply strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills to implement innovative solutions to challenging design criteria. They will be involved in research efforts including initial concepts, advanced technology demonstrations, and will have the opportunity to follow product development from beginning to end, including documentation, fabrication, assembly, and test/delivery of a range of microelectronics products. This position requires strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to maintain positive relationships & satisfaction with Program leadership (Engineering and Program Management). Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and materials and prior experience working with contract manufacturers (OSATs) is highly desired.

The role requires knowledge of high-density microelectronic packaging designs including Interposers, organic substrates, wafer and chip bumping and general knowledge in areas of electronic components/devices such as ASICs and FPGAs, design of electronic packaging chassis and structures, interconnects (connectors/cables), and thermal management design of high-density electronic systems and electronic enclosures. The successful candidate will have the ability to bring new and fresh ideas to the team, with opportunities to explore research and innovation areas in a collaborative and fun team environment. Additionally, the candidate is expected to follow established procedures in creation of technical data package work products, while working closely with program management and functional supervision to ensure the overall design objectives are met.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with cross-functional hardware engineering teams to develop advanced microelectronics packages including 3DHI, 3D, and 2.5D (interposer + chiplets) and novel material and process solutions for RF, digital, mixed-signal, and photonics products
  • Leverage industry-leading manufacturing and novel materials to achieve new levels of electro-mechanical performance and reliability

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field and a minimum of  Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience (An advanced STEM degree could count for 3 years of experience) with mechanical and electrical engineering design.
  • Experience performing circuit layout design using 2D CAD tools
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • A Master’s degree or PhD. in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field 
  • Experience in RF circuit design, including 3D EM simulation in HFSS or similar tools
  • Circuit layout design experience using 2D and 3D CAD tools (Cadence Virtuoso and/or Allegro/APD+)
  • Experience and familiarity with selection and oversight for semiconductor wafer  processing and finishing (plating, bumping, dicing)
  • Design experience with 3D and 2.5D packaging, complex CAD/EDA software design workflows, and RF/Thermal/Digital co-design
  • Experience qualifying and implementing cutting edge materials, fabrication techniques, and understanding of relevant materials used in semiconductor manufacturing and packaging
  • Strong background in development, documentation, fabrication, assembly, and test/delivery of military/defense and/or commercial state-of-the-art electronic products
  • Experience with designing electronics for extreme environmental requirements and design constraints

What You Will Do

What You Will Do

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Sr. Principal RF Module Design/Development Engineer to join our Module Development Section with the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department as a technical lead. The AMS department designs, fabricates, and tests state-of-the-art Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs) in our on-site foundry. These chips are designed into custom modules to support multiple programs and enhance the capabilities of next generation radar systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical design and development of RF/microwave modules containing GaAs- and GaN-based monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) products. This would be in active support of existing technologies in production as well as next generation products in development. This position requires a strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave Design, Development, Integration & Test.

What You Will Do:

  • Designing RF structures and transitions on multi-layer, multi-channel RF Modules and analog circuitry enabling both receive and transmit behavior

  • Consulting across RF module design, MMIC design and assembly teams

  • Troubleshooting RF Modules that are prototyped and under development

An exciting opportunity exists at Raytheon for a Semiconductor Dry Etch Engineering Lead to join our III-V compound semiconductor foundry team fabricating gallium nitride and gallium arsenide-based devices within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department.  This role requires a broad understanding of microelectronics processing and subject matter expertise in one or more dry etch related techniques including plasma ashing/descum, reactive ion etching (RIE), and inductively coupled etching (ICP).

As a member of the AMS Department, the individual in this role will serve as the dry etch processes lead engineer and collaborate with the various engineering work centers in the III-V semiconductor wafer foundry. The candidate will lead and assist projects in process sustainment, capital allocation, directing process and capital qualifications, improving cycle time, improving product yield, developing new data driven controls, and driving overall wafer movement efficiency.

The chosen candidate is expected to be an innovative and creative thinker capable of probing issues and reaching solutions both independently and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of various microelectronics processing techniques beyond deposition, including wet and dry etching, lift-off techniques, photolithography, metrology, process characterization, foundry data integrity, and large data analysis methods.

The candidate is expected to work well in large and small, cross-functional teams, understand foundry processes, determine capacity limitations, improve overall equipment effectiveness, identify yield improvement opportunities, gather sponsorship and team resources, and execute on continuous improvement activities. Presence on the foundry floor is essential for quick resolution of technical issues as well as the ability to work with operations, facilities, equipment, and quality teams. The role requires a large degree of multitasking with attention to detail while managing priorities depending on the nature of the problems and the commitments.

What You Will Do:

  • Sustainment of current dry etch production processes and involvement with development of new process
  • Set and report center priorities at the 8am foundry tier meeting

  • Assist process engineers in training users and operators on semiconductor processes and equipment

Qualifications You Must Have:

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

CLINIC OPERATIONS:

- Manages the operations of the clinic, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards.

- Coordinates all aspects of patient care with the appropriate staff members, from admission through discharge of the patient.
- Ensure education of the patient regarding quality measures, transplant options, modality awareness, and access care.
- Acts as a resource for the patient and family to address concerns and questions.
- Accountable for timely completion of patient care assessments and care plans.
- Manages timely patient schedules to ensure facility efficiency and develops action plans for missed treatments.
- Plans, coordinates, and validates patient eligibility for treatment.
- Reports changes in patient status regarding any clinical, insurance, or travel and transportation issues.

STAFF:

- Participates in the selection and hiring of new team members and ensures completion of new hiring orientation and mandatory trainings.
- Responsible for all patient care employees completing appropriate training courses and that licensures/certifications are current.
- Provides support for all clinical staff members at regular intervals and encourages professional growth.
- Maintains current knowledge regarding company benefits, policies, procedures, and processes.

- Documents any disciplinary actions and confers with the clinic Director of Operations and Human Resources when needed.

PHYSICIANS:

- Facilitates the application process for physician privileges and compliance with Fresenius Medical Care Medical Staff By-Laws.
- Responsible for strong physician relationships and ensures regular and effective communication.
- Participates in Governing Body, an interdisciplinary team for each region including MSWs, Dietitians, MDs, DOs etc. that governs policies.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN).
- Current appropriate state licensure.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- Required:

- 6+ years business operations experience in a healthcare facility.

- 12 months experience in clinical nursing.

- 6 months chronic or acute dialysis nursing experience.

- Successfully pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test.

- Preferred but not required:

- 3+ years supervisory or project/program management experience.

- Med/surg or ICU/CCU experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.

Typical assignments include:

  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

  • Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
  • Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
  • Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

  • Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
  • Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
  • Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The ICU nurse will care for seriously and critically ill patients. This includes providing physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural support to the patient. He/she will provide continuous observation and frequent measurements of relevant indicators of clinical conditions and outcomes. The ICU nurse maintains competencies in hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition, ventilator management and other evolving technologies as they are developed. He/she will always recognize and be cognizant of the impact that a serious illness projects upon a patient and their family.

What qualification will you need:

  • BLS required; dysrhythmia training prior to ACLS.
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire

  • Associates Degree as Registered Nurse required, BSN preferred. 
  • One year of nursing experience preferred

RESPONSIBILTIES:

- Participates on the IDT’s initial assessments, care planning and on-going re-assessments of participant care.
- Attends IDT meetings; actively participates in team meetings by sharing pertinent information, providing follow up to assigned tasks and helps to develop participant’s plan of care.
- Completes all assigned assessments – (initial, semi-annual, annual, service request and/or significant event).
- Assesses the psychosocial needs of the participant and provides supportive counseling, working collaboratively with behavioral health providers.
- Facilitates hospital, rehabilitation and nursing home (NH) admissions and discharges as determined by the Interdisciplinary Team. Ensures that PASRR documentation is completed for NH admission.
- Assists in the conversion process of the participant from community to long-term care. Works collaboratively with Medicaid Specialist, skilled nursing facility, and participant’s caregiver to complete conversion.
- Arranges and facilitates family meetings, as needed.
- Refers participants and families to appropriate community services and acts as liaison and/or advocate with community organizations for participants.
- Maintains professional, accurate and timely social service documentation in the participants’ medical records.
- Conducts participant council meetings as assigned.
- Works collaboratively with Director of Social Work and Behavioral Health provider to ensure guardianship is up to date. Educates participant regarding health care proxy (HCP). Assists participant in completion of HCP form.
- Works collaboratively with fiscal department to maintain participant insurance benefits and completes required documentation of fiscal information in the medical record.
- Reviews plan of care with participants, guardian, and/or activated health care proxy as assigned.
- Complete authorizations for home care and other approved services timely and accurately.
- Completes home and/or skilled nursing facility visits to assess participant as indicated.
- Works collaboratively with Palliative care team; Assists with end of life planning as indicated.
- Provides timely communication to appropriate staff regarding the following: (disenrollment, conversion to long term care, transfer of sites, participant and/or caregiver demographic changes).
- Reports allegations of abuse to appropriate state agency; provides support and resources to participant as he/she will accept; completes required documentation.
- Ability to pass a fit test. Position requires mask where seal is critical. Incumbent is required to not have facial hair that interferes with a tight seal of the respirator.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Frequent local travel.

Qualifications:

- Current Social Work licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Masters level (L.I.C.S.W. or L.C.S.W.) required
