The Principal Product Engineer will learn the technical aspect of key product in the Andover, MA factory.  The Product Engineer will be product centric technical liaison, focused on driving collaboration across work centers and all disciplines to resolve technical issues, improve efficiencies and optimize overall product yield to ensure high-quality and cost-effective products and systems. You will utilize data analysis, CORE methodologies, and technical understanding to maximize overall product test yield, efficiency, and value.

What You Will Do

  • Address major yield and technical issues highlighted by tech leads and factory operation managers.

  • Perform data analysis and provide direction for overall product yield and performance improvement.

  • Facilitate collaboration across manufacturing work centers and design engineering.

  • Empower production test engineer to resolve complex failures through data driven troubleshooting technique.

  • Establish technical understanding of the product architecture, subassemblies, and test requirement.

  • Partner with test and design engineering team to develop sustaining solution to technical problems with root cause and corrective action identification.  

  • Requires direct support of manufacturing test activities and spending a large amount of time directly on the factory floor in support of a highly demanding dynamic environment.

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and typically a minimum 8 years of relevant experience

  • 4+ years in Production testing/troubleshooting

As a Senior Process Project Manager, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to leading and executing strategic capital investment and process improvement projects that enhance the design, performance, and reliability of our yogurt manufacturing operations. The role includes overseeing projects from concept through full implementation, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, plant operational needs, and product quality expectations. Responsibilities include driving process design, managing cross-functional project teams, supporting production and quality operations, and ensuring successful commissioning of new or upgraded yogurt processing systems. Additionally, the Senior Yogurt Process Project Manager will collaborate with other Lactalis USA Corporate team members, the Lactalis Group Corporate Engineering & Equipment Department, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Plant Engineering and Operations teams to align duties with the company's goals and values.

  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and performance criteria to support strategic business goals within yogurt manufacturing and processing.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate technical constraints, operational impacts, and cost-benefit considerations.
  • Partner with Key Stakeholders at Corporate and Plant level - including Production, Quality, Planning, R&D, Finance, Safety, Maintenance, and Engineering - to obtain buy-ins and to ensure that project designs meet business, operational, and regulatory expectations.
  • Develop complete project packages including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment layouts, scopes of work, cost estimates, timelines, ROI, and risk assessments required for capital project justification and submittal.

  • Lead vendor negotiations to secure competitive quotations for capital assets, installation services, and engineering support.

  • Lead end-to-end project management for yogurt process initiatives, from conceptual design through commissioning, ramp up, project closure, and handover.
  • Maintain and distribute comprehensive Project Schedules, identify critical paths, implement mitigation initiatives, and propose acceleration plans to ensure all projects are completed in accordance with the timelines in the Savings Plans and ROI calculations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project review meetings, develop and distribute meeting minutes, and escalate issues or risks to key stakeholders as required.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities to ensure equipment performance aligns with specifications and project objectives.
  • Oversee installation, startup, and optimization of yogurt processing systems, resolving technical issues and ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.

The Utilities and Processing Manager is responsible for leading the performance, reliability, and compliance of all plant utility, environmental, and milk processing systems. This role oversees cross-functional maintenance teams, drives energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives, and manages complex capital and operational projects from planning through execution. The manager ensures utility operations-including HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, glycol, electrical distribution, and wastewater systems-are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulatory and corporate standards. In addition, the role provides technical leadership for milk processing systems, ensuring consistent product quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. This position collaborates closely with internal teams, contractors, and external regulatory partners to support operational excellence, long-term asset health, and site-wide performance goals.


Project Management:

Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines. Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project. Serve as a point of contact for all project personnel, (contractors, internal support resources, etc.), to ensure teams remain in synergy. Communicate with internal and external business partners to keep the project aligned with their goals and targets. Performing quality control on the project throughout execution to maintain the standards expected. Adjust project schedules, targets, milestones, project financing, and escalations as needed.


Plant Utility Systems:

Drive plant utility efficiencies to positively impact energy savings in line with Sustainable Environmental goals. Supervise and manage the Utilities Maintenance Department to provide technical oversight for utility systems including HVAC, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, air compressors, glycol systems, and electrical distribution. Lead energy conservation efforts, manage plant utility projects, and partner with other business partners to ensure compliance with plant standards for all non-utility related projects.


Environmental Systems:

Provide technical assistance and oversight for the Industrial Pretreatment Facility, (WWTP), as well as all other Plant Utility Environmental Compliance. Oversee the execution of all environmental contracts, audits, and submit regulatory documents to ensure compliance. Manage 3rd party environmental contractors and align with corporate sustainability manager(s) for corporate sustainability initiatives.


Milk Processing Systems:

Directly manage the Maintenance resources for all Milk Processing systems. Establish mid- and long-term preventative maintenance plans to ensure the reliability of these systems. Including, but not limited to Raw incoming milk, Ingredient batching, Pasteurization, and CIP systems. Adhere to all Quality and PMO standards. Partner with Internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to successfully execute continuous improvements and reliability initiatives.

  • Oversee and execute Utility and Processing project(s) development, execution, and project and Maintenance budgets.
  • Responsible for all aspects of food safety and quality as defined in plant and department procedures

As an Control Account Manager, you’ll be assigned to one or more LTAMDS programs and will be responsible for providing innovative and trusted solutions that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Land and Air Defense products and services over their life cycle. As a Deployment Fielding and Sustainment (DFS) CAM, the successful candidate will support the DFS program Leads, LTAMDS Program Control Account Managers, and Program leads in the successful completion of monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting and analysis, monthly Budget Change Requests (BCRs), facilitate EAC and LRE inputs, and demonstrate the ability to perform meaningful analysis and effective communication to drive predictable results. Scope of work includes partnering with engineering and program leads for EVMS process inputs, EAC/LRE development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly analysis of cost and labor runs. The role focuses on driving cost control and schedule using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX management reporting tools. The candidate will be required to perform analyses and prepare reports to drive predictable cost and schedule. Naval Power is seeking a highly motivated Production Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the SPY-6 Array production program’s Array Build, Integration & Testing. This position reports to the SPY-6 Production Array Program Manager and leads the execution efforts of the recurring production sell-off.  This lead will be responsible for ensuring that equipment delivery commitments are made on time and within budget, focusing on Array Build Integration & Testing, and RHS assembly builds, including Mechanical Structures & RMA Chassis material. They are responsible for removing barriers and defining solutions that support the Production IPT and program.

In addition, it is expected this person will work across all Raytheon functional organizations to staff the Production IPT and ensure the timely start-up and delivery of products in accordance with the contract(s).  

This is an onsite position located at either our Andover or Tewksbury, MA facilities.

What You Will Do

  • Establish and maintain a positive culture to which top talent is attracted.

  • Provide leadership and direction for the cross-functional supply chain, operations, engineering, quality, test, and logistics teams in the Production IPT with an emphasis on mitigating technical risk, assuring continuous Array production and delivery of compliant hardware to the Navy.

  • Collaborate with SPY-6 Chief Engineer to provide technical oversight of Array scope to include reviews of TDP changes, planning and execution of Array Production Test & FAIs.

  • Lead MLAs/RFVs/MRBs for Array build and integration issues.

  • Accountability for the production scope, including aligning product EACs with SOW definition, contract values and Program Management.

  • Work with Customer counterparts to understand status, schedules, priorities and objectives for events.

  • Participate in management of suppliers, in coordination with the supply chain function.

  • Manage engineering staffing across the Production IPT.

  • Developing presentations and presenting at program management reviews (PMRs), staffing reviews, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments.

  • Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.

  • Support the program risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.

  • Travel to support supplier reviews and programmatic meetings.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. 

  • Prior IPTL experience.

  • Experience with financial management/analysis tools.

  • Prior experience on a low-rate initial production (LRIP) or full rate production program, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.

  • Experience presenting to internal Raytheon leadership, customers, partners, and/or subcontractors.

  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access prior to start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior IPT lead experience with heavy interaction with Operations and Supply chain function.

  • Experience working with production of SPY-6 Systems.

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited university.

  • Raytheon PM Certification Level 6 (or equivalent) or ability to obtain within a year.

  • Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources with cross-functional teams in an IPT organizational structure.

  • Prior Functional leadership experience.

  • Program execution experience under a firm fixed price contract structure.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a program or IPT over $50 million in annual sales.

  • Experience working with Navy and/or International customers

The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team discipline is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support integration and test activities for NASAMS (surface to air defense system) programs. In this role you will collaborate internally across functions and externally with our industry partners and U.S. Government customers to plan, prepare and execute Product Acceptance Testing and System Demonstration of the NASAMS Fire Unit.  This position reports into the overall NASAMS SI&T Cross Product Team Lead.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the test architect in the integration and test strategy development and implementation to include metric collection and tracking.

  • Support the development and review of test plans and test procedures.

  • Support the planning, preparations, and conduct and product acceptance, system demonstration, and System Integration and Checkout (SICO) events.

  • Identify and coordinate resources required for execution of demonstration and test events.

  • Responsible for providing technical assistance to the program SI&T CPT lead to include development of technical briefings for program and engineering leadership.

  • International travel up to 20%. Regular travel between Raytheon locations in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire is required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
