Job Description:

The Construction Manager (CM) is the project representative that have been delegated authority and responsibility of administering the field operations of the construction project. The CM will perform all aspects of field administration, including implementation of a safety plan and a quality control plan. The Construction Manager will be responsible for developing, evaluation of, and execution of construction plans for various projects as assigned. This will include significant outage planning and coordination with operating entities and contractors.

Job Responsibilities:

Function: The two primary functions of the Construction Manager is to perform evaluations of construction plans for safety, feasibility and efficiencies and to perform construction management for specific projects as assigned at the various Client locations.

Accountable for:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for the safety, cost and schedule performance of the construction efforts assigned. Deliverables: The deliverables required will vary based on the requirements unique to each assigned project, but will generally consist of:

1. Assist in the development of the progress schedule; generating, gathering, and confirming all information needed to create, monitor, and modify the progress schedule on a continuous basis. Monitor and report on actual vs. target performance requirements.

2. Perform constructability analyses on a regular basis and coordinate general direction of work.

3. Evaluate and provide input to vendor construction plans.

4. Manage receipt of material and equipment and ensure proper storage and accessibility.

5. Monitor manpower and physical progress of construction.

6. Monitor as required cost items related to the construction contracts ie. reimbursable costs to control spending. Review contractor progress payment requests. Review and provide final invoice approval.

7. Review, evaluate, resolve and report on contractor claims and disputes including maintaining change logs.

8. Coordinate and administer the construction quality assurance program.

9. Monitor and report on engineering and procurement function to ensure that deliverables are processed in time to meet construction commitments.

10. Prepare construction reports and maintain daily construction log. Maintain record drawing data, and prepares all regular and any special documentation as determined by project needs.

11. Conduct construction coordination meetings as required to progress the project in accordance with the schedule.

12. Coordinate storage and lay-down needs.

13. Assist in the obtainment of all necessary permits and licenses.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in coordinating and managing complex construction in an industrial setting - Direct steel industry construction experiences a plus.

• Knowledge and proficiency of Construction Industry Institute (CII) and Project Management Institute (PMI) concepts a plus.

• Knowledge of industry standards pertaining to industrial construction and safety planning.

• Experience with multi-discipline constructability and construction planning.

• Ability to use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Oracle software.

• Ability to read and evaluate schedules. • Ability to evaluate estimates and related scope documents. • Knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies. This includes a broad knowledge of industry design standards, safety planning, basic construction techniques, equipment specifications, project control techniques including critical path scheduling, resource loading, cost control including earned value, and construction turnover to commissioning process.

Will provide direct care services, as approved and identified on the Participants Plan of Care to include, but not limited to the following ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, mobility, van assist and medication prompting. Will also provide direct care services, as approved and identified on the Participants Plan of Care to include, but not limited to the following IADLs: light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping and companionship. The Personal Care Assistant will provides approved basic nursing care services to include, but not limited to, Foley catheter care, applying assistive devices, and assisting with colostomy bags consistent with policies and procedures. And is also responsible for completing and submitting accurate and timely documentation including Flow Sheets, Participant Logs, Communication books, etc. within the appropriate timeframe.


LOCATION/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Positions are based out of an Adult Day Health Center, which are located in North Shore, Allegheny Center, Greentree, and McKees Rocks. Services areas vary based on location.

Travel to multiple Participants residences throughout a shift is required.

Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others. A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in the lower grade level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nations economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.

Typical assignments include:

  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
  • Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
  • Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
  • Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.
  • Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.

Qualifications:

GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:

  • Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
  • Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
  • Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

  • Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
  • Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
  • Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.

The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.

There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

Other Requirements:

Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.

Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (including protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.

Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient in the Spanish language at the Academy.

The Engineering Coordinator provides both administrative and technical support to the Engineering Department, ensuring efficient project execution, accurate document control, and seamless coordination across functional teams including Project Management, Sourcing, Assembly, Contract Shop, Applications, Proposal Engineering, and Service.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate engineering data, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and change orders, ensuring that information is current and effectively communicated throughout the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Tracking

  • Assist engineers with planning, scheduling, and tracking engineering projects
  • Monitor timelines and deliverables to support on-time project completion

Documentation & Data Management

  • Maintain and update engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and technical files
  • Process engineering change requests and change orders through established workflows
  • Ensure document control processes comply with ISO standards
  • Update drawings with redlines
  • Generate part numbers and manage revisions

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Track and manage technical support requests from Assembly, Sourcing, Service, Applications, Contract Shop, and Proposal Engineering
  • Facilitate clear communication between engineering and other departments

Administrative & Systems Support

  • Assist in preparing engineering KPI reports
  • Capture meeting minutes and track follow-up actions
  • Prepare status reports and progress updates for management
