A well-established Orlando law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant with 2–3 years of experience handling insurance defense matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced team supporting attorneys in complex civil litigation cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative and litigation support to insurance defense attorneys
  • Draft, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
  • E-file documents in Florida state and federal courts
  • Manage attorney calendars, including hearings, depositions, and deadlines
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, and client meetings
  • Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical)
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit binders and witness coordination

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of litigation legal assistant experience, preferably in insurance defense
  • Strong knowledge of Florida court rules and e-filing procedures
  • Experience with case management and document management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Professional communication skills and strong work ethic
