Position Purpose
The CDL Driver - Hazmat is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations or job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) rules and maintain a clean driving record to make sure company vehicles are operated safely and responsibly.
Comply with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation of hazardous materials
Inspect vehicles before and after trips to help ensure safe and on-time deliveries
Load, unload, and organize orders carefully ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations
Double-check purchase orders and delivery tickets to confirm routes and inventory, helping reduce errors and improve customer satisfaction.
Support job site safety by checking for and reporting any potential hazards, to help prevent accidents and protect people and property.
Take photos of all delivered products as required by company policy.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts.

Formal Training : Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement, and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses.
Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English.
Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient in the Spanish language at the Academy.

Milber Makris Plousadis & Seiden, LLP, a full-service civil litigation defense firm and business partner to the insurance industry, is seeking a legal assistant with 3+ years' prior experience to assist attorneys in all phases of litigation. This role is based in our Woodbury, New York office and requires four days a week in office and one day remote, following a minimum of six weeks in-office training. Candidates must be eager to learn, organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in insurance defense litigation is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years' prior legal assistant experience in a law office.
- Preparing, editing, proofreading, finalizing, serving and filing legal documents.
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel & Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent typing, grammar and computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, knowledge and understanding of legal terminology and procedures
- Knowledge of defense litigation

Primary job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Insurance defense litigation support

- Case management and calendar management for assigned caseload

Position Summary:
