Responsibilities
- Evaluates project work for interim and final payment.
- Identifies opportunities for extension of time and money claims and creates and quantifies the requests.
- Submits and follows up on requests for payment for: extensions of time, variations, disruption, claims and for all items for which the Lane is entitled.
- Manages the financial and contract administration of subcontractor accounts.
- Produces contractual correspondence, contractual notices, and provision of contractual advice on a routine basis.
- Directs, when appropriate, the preparation of contractor’s monthly statement (including organizing records and measurement).
- Identifies and prices variations (including construction v tender drawing change review or revision of owner's requirements, as applicable).
- Prepares and obtains approval for the final measurement/account incl. statement at completion.
- With Corporate approval, requests engineer’s decision/determinations/DB submissions.
- Requests taking-over certificates for parts and the whole of the works.
- Monitors progress (incl. ensuring maintenance of planned v. actual).
- Organizes site document filing system according to guidelines.
- In conjunction with site management, ensures site records of resources and production are maintained.
- Provides information and reports as needed.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred)

Position Summary:
The Construction Executive Assistant (EA) to the Vice President of Projects provides high-level administrative support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and assisting with project oversight, reporting, and coordination. This individual will act as a key liaison between the VP of Projects and internal/external stakeholders, managing schedules, communications, and critical documents while maintaining a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the VP’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, site visits, and project reviews.
Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries for job site visits, conferences, and vendor meetings.
Screen and prioritize incoming communications (emails, phone calls, mail) and respond or redirect as needed.
Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, and follow up on action items.
Project Coordination:
Assist with the preparation of project documents, including proposals, progress reports, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Maintain project files and documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with internal standards.
Support the tracking of project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to gather updates and generate consolidated reports.

Communication & Liaison:

Position Overview:
Supporting efforts for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance with applicable regulations and existing company standards and contributing to a culture where employee health and safety is preserved and encouraged.

- Support the Quality Manager to comply with federal (OSHA) and state safety rules and maintain safety and occupational health related reporting.
- Support and collaboration with consultations on health and safety at work, participate in the regular safety meetings
- Collaborate with Quality to create and update all the necessary documentation for compliance with Safety and Environment obligations
- Help maintain relations with the authorities responsible for safety and the environment
- Collaborate with Quality to resolve environmental and safety requirements and non-conformities, collect and process data related to environmental monitoring (discharges, waste, emissions, energy consumption, etc.)
- Execute safety initiatives and programs that ensure a safe, compliant, and productive work environment
- Monitor safety performance data, identify trends, and lead structured problem-solving efforts to resolve recurring safety issues
- Support the management of records for multiple databases and ISO systems.

Training 30%
- Support the Quality Manager in the development of training for managers, technical staff and operators
- Help conduct required training for managers, technical staff and operators
- Promote employee engagement in safety through coaching, positive reinforcement, and behavior-based safety programs
- Evaluate and enhance current safety training programs through ongoing review and recommended improvements
- Partner with plant employees, supervisors, and leadership to promote a culture of safety and safe work practices
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in any field related to EH&S, such as Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Science or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of experience leading EHS efforts in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong critical thinking, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of EHS programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Foundational knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) standards, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and/or State environmental regulations and regulatory program areas.
- Microsoft Office Applications

Job Summary:
The general anesthesiologist will provide anesthetics at CaroMont Regional Medical Center and Belmont Hospital in the rural Charlotte area. The anesthesiologist will conduct patient evaluations, examinations, and medical histories to develop an anesthetic plan conducive with the patient workup. The physician will not only work with patients, but provide medical supervision to certified registered nurse anesthetists in ensuring safe care with optimal outcomes. The physician will use various anesthesia techniques, including strong regional anesthesia, during a variety of general outpatient procedures and surgeries, and will adjust the plan accordingly. The physician will also monitor post-operative care to ensure a safe, quality recovery.
This is a great opportunity to do lots of hearts if desired (hearts about 1/7 of the time). Will perform a wide variety of cases including CABG, valves, aortic dissections, TAVRs, TMVRs, laser led removals, Impella placement, and LVADs likely coming soon! Our cases are growing! This is a great opportunity to retain general skills as well and those cases include neuro, OB, ortho, ENT, healthy peds, GI, endo and general surgery. A cardiothoracic fellowship is required. Call is 1 in 10. Call will be equally shared with 9 other physicians, approximately 2-3 call shifts per month (24-hour calls with post call day off), about one weekend per month.
Schedule: Partnership, W-2 or Monday - Friday, no nights/weekends/call
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepares and administers general and regional anesthetics and pain medication, adjusting as needed before, during, and after surgery and other procedures.
Provides anesthesia maintenance and adjustment before, during, and after procedures.
Maintains patient records.
Orders diagnostic tests as needed.
Works closely with surgical specialists.
Performs venous and arterial punctures.
Performs pre-anesthesia patient evaluation.
Provides post-anesthesia care and evaluation.
Provides and monitors mechanical ventilation.
Communicate with patients, and their families and caregivers.
Reacts appropriately to adverse reactions and complications.
Evaluates patient histories, lab results, and surgical plans to determine an appropriate anesthesia and pain management plan.
Monitors patient fluid, blood, and electrolyte balance, and other vital signs and critical functions during the course of procedures.
Performs tracheal intubation, airway management, and extubation.
Monitors patients following procedures to determine when they can be safely moved from one stage of recovery to the next.
Takes detailed medical history to determine possible allergic or negative reactions to medication.
Supervises registered nurse anesthetists and other technical staff.
Mentors and supervises anesthesiology interns, residents, and fellows.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility (BC/BE) in anesthesiology.
Strong regional skills, fellowship not required.
NC state medical license.
Minimum 3+ years experience providing anesthetics in a high acuity or similar setting.
