Position Overview

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of direct work experience in a construction management capacity, including all aspects of project execution.
  • Experience with P6 (or equivalent scheduling software) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, other departments, and vendors.
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Competent and proficient with the full Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, technology, or related field of study.

Overview:

Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) is a nonprofit in Raleigh working alongside students and families through mentoring, education, and opportunity. We are seeking a Director of Academic Programs to lead and strengthen the instructional side of our afterschool mentoring and tutoring programs.

Many students in our program begin 1–2 grade levels behind academically, and this role will help design and implement simple, high-impact academic practices that accelerate student learning.


Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and refining the academic strategy for N2N’s mentoring programs

• Training and equipping mentors with effective instructional practices

• Monitoring student academic progress and strengthening intervention systems

• Coaching staff and supporting strong program execution across sites


We are looking for a leader with a strong instructional background and a passion for helping students who are behind academically catch up and thrive.


Educators with experience in instructional coaching, MTSS, intervention leadership, literacy instruction, or school leadership are especially encouraged to apply.
