Our RN's in the Operating Room are the eyes, ears, and heart of our patients. They work within a strong collaborative OR team consisting of Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Scrub Techs, and Team Leads.
Schedule: PRN/Registry; Day Shift
Location: Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, Melrose Park, IL
What Registered Nurse RN will need:
A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
Compensation:
BSN Pay Range: $34.76 - $57.06 per hour
ADN Pay Range: $32.31 - $50.71 per hour

- On-Call Requirement: Rotating on-call duties with team; must be able to report within 30 minutes

What You’ll Do
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures following sterile technique
- Operate fluoroscopy, C‑arm, PACS, and hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Prepare procedure rooms, position patients, and ensure safe and accurate imaging
- Assist physicians during Cath Lab cases, monitor vital signs, and contribute to optimal procedural flow
- Participate in the on‑call rotation, supporting emergent cases when needed
What We’re Looking For
Education
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience/training
Licensure & Certifications
- ARRT certification
- IEMA license (Illinois Emergency Management Agency)
- AHA CPR (BLS)

Performs counts per policy and procedures. Follows National Patient Safety Goal guidelines.
Demonstrates basic case preparation - Selects equipment & supplies by use of preference cards. Locates basic equipment & supplies. Identifies & demonstrates methods of surgical reprocessing of instrumentation & supplies. Prepares self for the scrub role. Prepares surgical instrument supplies for surgery.
